you straightened your clothes, waiting for jessie to ring the doorbell at her parent's place. you two have been coming here every weekend for a few months now, to keep up the illusion that you two were a couple. it was just another part of jessie's lie about her life…
“just a few more weeks, i swear!” jessie assured you, clinging to your arm, before ringing the bell. “just long enough for my mom to know she doesn't have to worry about me, alright~?”
you sighed softly and nodded. though you struggled to believe that it would truly just be a few more weeks. with how much jessie's mom liked you, you might never get out of this again…
