Being an angry system with a lot of trauma based around emotional neglect is actually the fucking worst. Not only that but being so sensitive to every little thing. I just want to feel like a person who's wanted. Is that so fucking hard to ask?

But no, even the slightest bit of unintentional neglect or ignorance throws us so off. We can be there for other people day in and day out, and not one person is here for us, even the people we are closest to. I don't want to resent our friends, but we're starting to get there.

We haven't seen our therapist in a month, can you tell?
