Quick facts
Heavy BLU [Self Chocolate Standard] — It's hard to read his thoughts on the snout, and basically this gives the impression of a menacing tough nature. It suits him, although it pricks when others jumping with alarm away from his rare attempts to show concern.
Sniper BLU [Aussie Mink Standard] — Jackass. Unpredictable, thus dangerous. More cares about a thrill of hunting than to actually get his target. Likes to use primitive style weapons for more fun.
Medic BLU [Blue Marble Standard] — Being a "guest" in labs have it's own benefits despite of downwards. Yes, the constant fear of someone's approaching you is not a pleasant thing, but, because of it, he became a master of predicting upcoming danger and quite good at escaping. But, at the end, you should remember never underestimate a cornered rat.
When the American spirit was in its youth, the language of America was different: Liberty, Sir, was then the primary object...But now, Sir, the American spirit, assisted by the ropes and chains of consolidation, is about to convert this country [in]to a powerful and mighty empire: If you make the citizens of this country agree to become the subjects of one great consolidated empire of America, your Government will not have sufficient energy to keep them together: Such a government is incompatible with the genius of republicanism.
Patrick Henry, 5 June 1788, recorded in the Documentary History of the Ratification of the Constitution IX:959
The 19th amendment ratification flag, which was displayed 100 years ago this August 18th to commemorate the day women were given the right to vote
from /r/vexillology Top comment: This flag (also known as the “Ratification Banner”, “19th Amendment Victory Flag”, “Suffrage Flag”, or “Alice Paul Flag”) was created by the National Woman’s Party during the process of ratification of the 19th amendment between 1919 and 1920, which would give women the right to vote. Based on the orange, white, and purple flag of the National Woman’s Party, a star was sewn on the flag each time a state voted to ratify the amendment. With 36 states being required to ratify, the flag had room for 36 stars. On August 18th, 1920, when Tennessee became the final required state to ratify, the flag was completed and displayed on the balcony of the National Women’s Party headquarters in Washington, D.C. (seen here: [https://www.loc.gov/item/mnwp000256/](https://www.loc.gov/item/mnwp000256/)). All Our Yesterdays: Day 216
25.02.20. Dailey Express:
“BORIS LAYS DOWN LAW TO EU.”
The article went on to say: "BORIS Johnson wants a clean break from the EU…"
Serial liar Johnson has again capitulated. I may be naïve but I really did believe we had a Brexit Deal signed and delivered and that we were now living in a post-Brexit era. How wrong can you be?
23.02 21. Dailey Express:
“Brexit delayed: UK accepts EU’s request to postpone ratification of Boris deal.”
So, dear reader, Boris has not yet “got it done”, he has not made a clean break, and rather than “refuse to grant a Brexit extension" he has done the exact opposite.
Is there anything that comes out of this mans mouth that isn’t a lie or a half-truth?
WE DESERVE BETTER
Happy 230th birthday to North Carolina, the 12th state to ratify the U.S. Constitution! North Carolina’s ratification took place on this day (November 21st) in 1789. One of the last of the former thirteen colonies to ratify (only Rhode Island held out longer), one of the major debates over ratification in North Carolina that most delayed its passage was the extant document’s lack of a Bill of Rights.
This ca. 1940 postcard from the Asheville Post Card Co. shows Cherokee, North Carolina by moonlight. It is part of the Hagley Library’s collection of Postcards of motels, roadside attractions, restaurants, etc. in the United States (Accession 2007.214).
