Okay am I stupid or is the undertale/deltarune hyperfixation just like. Half hibernating. Why did I watch a 2 hour long playthrough and a 30m video on leitmotifs

ā¦or maybe youāre just an asshole.
Have you considered that?

from now on every decision I'll be making will be determined by a coin flip
I suppose itās no surprise that we feel the need to dehumanize the people we hurtābefore, during, or after the hurting occurs. But it always comes as a surprise. In psychology itās known as cognitive dissonance. Itās the idea that it feels stressful and painful for us to hold two contradictory ideas at the same time (like the idea that weāre kind people and the idea that weāve just destroyed someone). And so, to ease the pain, we create illusory ways to justify our contradictory behavior.
Jon Ronson, So You've Been Publically Shamed
Thinking carefully about sending a concerned, caring message to a man like. To tell a guy that you care about them is surprisingly vulnerable, so much unlike telling a woman that you care. Men are much more likely to take that care and spit it back in your face in the form of a joke or cruelty or standoffishness. They're more likely to create more emotional distance in response. But I figure I have to be true to myself and try to show men care anyway, because they don't deserve it any less than women do
Got tickets to see Twenty One Pilots in May 2025. Iāll be at school in Edinburgh so Iām going to see them in Glasgow!
Thereās nothing I can do except wait but I am sort of anxious because the concert is on a Monday during final exams.
Iām calming myself down by rationalizing:
1) as a masters student I probably wonāt have as many exams
2) thereās only a small chance that Iāll have an exam on that specific Monday
3) even if I have an exam on that Monday, it is likely that it will end by or before 5pm
4) Glasgow is ~45 minutes by train from Edinburgh
5) the concert starts at 6:30 and Iām ok with missing the openers if I literally have to come from an exam
6) the tickets were surprisingly not as expensive as I thought they were gonna be, so I am ok with paying for an Uber to get me to the show if needed
7) I have a whole year and two semesters to make friends (I got two tickets because I donāt want to go alone) and figure out a plan
8) Iāll be in Scotland so I will be living the dream regardless
*deep breath*
I feel much better
Rationalizing denominators
The process of multiplying an irrational denominator withāanother irrational denominator to make it rational is known as rationalizing the denominator.
When a surd of order two is squared, a rational product is obtained. For example: When we have a fraction with surds in the denominator,we can remove the surd in the denominator by multiplying it with a surd that will make the irrational denominator become rational. The process of multiplying an irrational denominator withāanother irrational denominator to make it rational is known asā¦
