RWBY: Introduction to the Great Multiverse

GoL: The Prime Universe is shaping to be very exciting, wouldn't you agree?

GoD: Indeed, brother. It is extraordinary to see how far they've come. Do you have any idea if the heroes will rise to the challenge or fall to despair?

GoL: I do not. We may have created this world but even we can't predict what is yet to happen.

GoD: You have a point. The same can be said for the other alternate universes we have created.

With a wave of his hand, the God of Darkness showed the God of Light more worlds. It was a beautiful sight. Countless worlds with infinite possibilities.

GoL: Extraordinary.

GoD: Indeed. All of them offshoots of the Prime Universe and yet they always diverge. Some of these divergences are relatively small, impacting very little in life.

GoL: And some are quite large, altering the key events, its inhabitants and even how the worlds themselves function.

GoD: No two worlds are ever exactly alike, but I think that's ultimately a good thing. They always prove to be entertaining.

GoL: Any ones that stick out to you?

GoD: Plenty. *grabs several worlds* The multiverse of Razorblade. He has a knack for angst but also joy. He's given new life into his worlds in the form of 'Next Gen'. The world of Lasting Embers is a favourite of mine.

GoL: *smiles* I see. *grabs more worlds* I'm quite fond of LordHellPhoenix's worlds myself. He's evolved them quite nicely, each of them focusing Jaune but always having their own flair.

GoD: *laughs* That boy is a favourite among the Guardians. What I'm really looking forward to is this one. *grabs another world* Team AZRE. This world is focused on a new set of heroes.

GoL: Wow. *smiles* I am most looking forward to that one. A change from the norm and the point of view of other heroes.

GoD: I agree. I'm also looking forward to this world. *picks up another world* The world of Remnants. The Guardian, SYTO, is reshaping his original vision from the ground up. I wish him all the best.

GoL: As do I. I've also been scouting around for worlds that cross over with other worlds. I've found two Guardians who are building several of these. *picks up several worlds* The Guardian, Spider-Rose, is mixing elements from other universes separate from RWBY.

GoD: Oh? What universes are these?

GoL: Red vs Blue, Marvel and Sonic the Hedgehog.

GoD: *smiles* Magnificent. The beauty of merging worlds together gets my blood pumped.

GoL: As opposed to destroying things?

GoD: Shut up. Anyway, what of the other Guardian?

GoL: Ah yes. He has 6 worlds being built as we speak. Each one is merged with a different universe.

GoD: Which other universes has he merged?

GoL: Several universes of Final Fantasy, DC, Marvel, Fate and Devil May Cry.

GoD: What do you make of them?

GoL: It's hard to say for certain. But we shall keep an eye on this Guardian, make sure he doesn't disappoint.

GoD: We're watching you, DarkSaiyanGoku. *sneers* Always watching.

A little silly but I love the multiverse. Good luck to all fan writers and fan artists in all fandoms. I apologise to all the fan writers that I didn't include in this BUT let me assure you that your work does not go unnoticed and that I will support your work no matter what because you guys are AWESOME!!!!

Jaune: Oh no, that’s terrible!

Yang: Did she win?

I decided to try and do my headcanon for how their relationship first started to be a possibility for both of them. I hope it’s good for you.

Ilia leaned with her arms crossed on the bridge’s rail, watching the train Blake was on leave for Argus. “So you think she’ll be okay?”

“Yeah, she’s seriously tough.” Sun was sitting on the same railing she was leaning on. 

“Yeah.” Ilia smiled lightly. “She really is.”

They let silence set between them for a short time, before Sun tried to awkwardly fill it. “Sooooo... you know what happened to Neptune?”

Ilia let out a small groan. “He went off chasing another girl after I told him I wasn’t interested.”

That got a nervous chuckle from Sun. “Ha haha, yeaaah sorry about him. Guess I should’ve let him know you’re... um... not into guys.”

Ilia stood up straight a little bit, but was still leaning on the railing with her hands. “What do you mean?”

Sun rubbed the back of his neck. “Well, I didn’t let him know you were gay. Maybe if I had he wouldn’t have bothered you.”

“Oh.” Ilia blushed a little in embarrassment. “Well it’s not that I don’t like guys, I just don’t like arrogant playboys like that.”

Sun looked at her wide eyed. “Wait really?”

“Yeah. I mean he immediately started hitting on another girl as soon as I shot him down. Right in front of me too!”

“Yeah, well... don’t take it personally. That confidence of his is kinda faked. But... you seriously aren’t a lesbian?”

“No, well I do like girls a lot, but I also think some guys are really nice too now and then. So I guess that means I’m a little more bi?”

“Oh, that’s cool.” Sun also looked a bit awkward now. He didn’t mean to bring this up. He took some air in, puffing out his cheeks, then blew it out slowly. “So you wanna go get some food before we meet back up with Blake’s parents?”

Ilia looked at Sun and could feel the awkwardness coming off of him. “Weren’t you telling Blake that you were heading Shade with your team?”

“Well, yeah, but I think we could hang around for a few days, make sure things are all good here before we head off.”

Ilia simply responded with a small “Oh.” 

“Did you want me to leave soon?”

Ilia quickly waved that question off. “No no! I just didn’t think you’d stick around. You don’t really need to anymore since Blake left.”

“Hey! I wasn’t doing this all just for Blake!”

“You weren’t?”

Sun hopped off the railing and stood with his arms crossed casually. “Nah, course not. Sure Blake’s my friend and I wanted to help her out, but it was also the right thing to do. All this fighting everyone was doing and my school in trouble, I couldn’t just standby for all that.” He stuck his thumb out and pointed to his chest with a smile. “I’m way too awesome to let that happen!”

Ilia looked at the confidently smiling Sun, now seeing him in a different light. “Wow, I didn’t know that. That’s... really nice of you Sun.”

“Thanks, I know. Now what do you think about getting some food? I kind of skipped breakfast and I’m starved!”

Ilia thought for a minute. ‘Guess he isn’t as self-centered as I thought.’ “Sure Sun, I’m kind of hungry too.”

“Sweet! Let’s go get some chow!” Sun walked past her motioned for her to follow with his arm to join him. The chameleon faunus stood up fully now, letting go of the railing and following the cheerful blonde off the bridge and off to one of the nearby food stands.
