MY FRIENDS WITH FITNESS/SMART WATCHES. I NEED RECS.
So I have a fitbit inspire I picked up a few years ago, and fitbit has generally been my go to (started using them to track my sleep years ago). I generally use mine for health stuff: keeping a general eye on my heart rate/heart issues, estimating how much activity I can get up to every day (daily cardio load, very important and helpful for me), monitoring my stress, and I use it to sleep track.
However, Google is making a bunch of changes to the fitbit app and they'll be removing some of the features I specifically bought my fitbit to help with. And are also using it to push an AI 'wellness coach'.
Anyone know of a good alternative in case my fitbit becomes useless to me? Looking for something that includes:
Can monitor my heartrate with at least moderate accuracy
Some sort of daily cardio load/how much activity you can handle that day
Not required but ability to track stress levels is nice
Compatible with my Galaxy phone (so no apple watches unfortunately)
I do not need it to be waterproof or have compasses or anything. My exercise is mostly long walks + pilates and/or yoga. So far Garmin and Galaxy watches keep popping up, but I'm looking for thoughts anyway!
