My immediate thoughts on the recent tsams episode

I honestly see Moon in the wrong for this entire interaction rather than Sun

The reason why it’s “ok” for sun to keep a secret from moon and be petty is because

1. Moon made a promise to Sun to not keep secrets from him.

2. The nature of the secret- one was just an activity sun was doing and the other was literally involving the life of their brother being at risk

3. How they approached the argument

It’s not ok for sun to keep the secret but its way more justified than moon

Moon had multiple opportunities to inform sun about the family situation. And he KNOWS sun feels unimportant in the family. So willfully going “let’s not tell sun” is borderline vindictive.

The mentioning of Nexus in their argument was baffling honestly. I see no reason to bring up Nexus other than to hurt Sun. And to be honest Moon has hurt Sun before.

I see little to no change in the way Moon has behaved now versus how he was before. Still the same, always trying to excuse himself first with the kill code and now with the “I’m emotionally closed off.”

When. No. No he is not. Moon is actually very LOUD with his emotions as seen with this outburst.

Sun has the right to keep secrets and be petty after everything Moon put him through.

These are my thoughts and opinions. Add your two cents if you want but this is my opinion right now.

Y’all I’m so upset about this jjk episode ngl. Nobara died for Yuji’s character development. As if seeing Sukuna waste shibuya to a crisp and Nanami explode before his eyes wasn’t enough. And people are gonna excuse this for realism...

As if this isn’t still a story with characters that serve the plot. “Oh it’s thematic, it lands with the themes.” There’s nothing wrong with having a meaningless, tragic death. But as a writer you need to be careful bc it can tip from that to being wasted. And it’s not easy to do that. But Gege has done this several times, let us not forget Megumi’s status in the manga. You know how ppl felt when, if you’ve read mha, in regards to the whole Star n Stripes vs Shigaraki. And like ppl were upset that she came outta nowhere and essentially died barely accomplishing anything. And the whole thing felt pointless and a waste. That’s how some of this feels but it’s happened several times with more relevant characters.

Not all deaths, Nanami and Mechamaru’s deaths were done really well and they were tragic and meaningless. Which makes it frustrating bc he can write a good death. Idk it’s just some ppl, including me aren’t a fan of having characters they’ve invested in or fuck, the story itself has built up. For them to be prematurely sacrificed on an alter for the sake of a theme we all get by now. “Well that’s the point.” When you keep doing that over and over again, it loses its “spark” if you will. Now it’s just another day another body. And it starts to feel more like you don’t know what to do with this character so this is just the alternative. And those are just not good decisions.

I’m sorry for the rant but I’m heated. Love/hate relationship with this series fr 😭

Okay I have a theory

I saw today's episode and when Lena and Nia were having there conversations about their mother when Nia says "sometimes being dreamer reminds me the I have lost like...

"Like there is a whole part of yourself that you won't understand" Lena continues

So we have seen Lena's mother somewhere in season 5 she is a brunette. We also know that Lena was just 4 when her mother died drawing. So she might not remember her face.

And now look at nxyly she is a brunette and have same haircut as Lena's mother. She came to phantom zone by magical late or something I don't remember.

What if the part of Lena's life that she is unable to under stand is because there is something to do with magic something to do with nxyly

And then when Lena sees her fear she sees her mother, who look exactly like nxyly.

but also fuck rose quartz even more, im gunna drop some truth bombs

because she not only knew that shattering the other diamonds was an option, but she bubbled the person willing to facilitate it (someone please let bismuth out already holy fuck), and chose again and again to fight a war. one in which her allies would be shattered for her ideals anyway!

rose was not 100% dedicated to her acclaimed cause. she used other gems lives and pearl's servitude to compensate for what she wasnt willing to give. for something that SHE wanted. and as amethyst said, she left some 1,000 year conflict behind for her kid to fuckin deal with.

Rose was enamoured by earth and the beauty of life, but she acted for the sake of her own desire to experience it, and not what was actually truly best for earth, the gems, and the people on it.

she also never set pearl free for real, which is what shouldve happened if she was looking out for other peoples' best interests. which is worse now we know the romantic "love" (love being used loosely) was mutual. she even gave pearl an order on her last day in power, that lasted beyond her actual death.

to be fair, pearls actions were also short-sighted and based on pleasing someone, which never works out long-term. but how was she supposed to emotionally develop past that while still being in the role of "slave"? she didnt have the opportunities to, and once she finally did with steven around, she learned. rockily, but she did.

her and rose's relationship could never be a healthy one because they were never on equal terms. rose gave a crap attempt at trying to do that, but gave pearl another order right after her speech about pearls actions now being independent. especially in a power dynamic relationship, thats not healthy or even remotely functioning. this recent episode shows us that they probably shouldve had some time apart so pearl could emotionally develop.

its also kinda shitty that they just now framed it as "you swept rose off her feet so much she wanted to run away with you and live on earth with you forever". ok well she clearly didnt actually want that for too long, because greg was in the picture later, and pearl was very VERY clearly hurt by that. only for greg and pearl to justify it with, "she always did what she wanted".

it literally wouldve been fine if her actions had a limited effect on others. as new the episode tries to teach, self sufficiency is a good thing; but theres a middleground between relying on no one (Cowgirl Ruby), and relying so heavily on the people around you to make you happy that you're emotionally stunted and try to please people too much (Pearl), or you take responsibility for everything (Steven & Amethyst). Conversely, you can act irresponsibly using other people to fulfill yourself (Rose), or always rely on a singular person and their judgement without thinking for yourself (Ruby, pre-proposal).

Everyone but Rose has made huge gains in emotional development. Rose, sadly, had a kid and left those responsibilities in everyone else's hands. And during her life, in terms of emotional fulfillment, she would just pick up and move on when she needed something different, instead of trying to be responsible and more self-sufficient.

tldr; rose is a hedonistic, self-centered person, and a shitty parent. she's a person who put herself on a gigantic pedastal she didnt deserve. she took the decisions that were easiest for her in difficult situations, and the results screwed over countless other people. she also left a gigantic militaristic AND emotional mess for her kid and best friends to clean up.

so honestly? amethyst for president i love her. and i cant wait for the wedding

Just my opnion and thoughts on recent episode of Boku no hero academia

Okay when i say this i really not offending anyone or any character in this wonderful series

I am just criticising the way of world. More like i am just saying what i feel, cause i really need to say it.

Okay so the way aizawa is angry with the kids for taking actions on their own i dont think none of them is in position to be angry on kids cause its there own fault for being weak and not being able to protect the kids in first place. Their friend was taken away in front of them of course they will be frustrated at themselves. And they would want to do something. And for gods sake they are training to be hero. And what heroes do is to save without thinking for yourselves. Risking their own lives,whats wrong with that. And taking actions first before you think anuthing else isnt that just what heroes supposed to do. Hero is not something you become after you train or pass exams. It is just you actions of risking your lives for someones sake thats what makes someone a hero.
