I'm having a bit of an exhausting week and I really want to chat to the Red Dwarf fandom - hello everybody!!! Please tell me your favourite season of RD and why! You can be as descriptive as you wish (or you can just be like "idk I just like it" if that's true as well.) ^-^

I'll go first - my favourite is Season 5 because it just feels like the stakes of each episode are so much higher and it's super exciting! It's also lovely to see the sci fi concepts being expanded upon, I love Holly's design for this season (the way Hattie's screen has been edited makes her look a lot more ethereal imo), and I just adore seeing how close the crew became as a group. It's super lovely to me! A close contender would also be Season 4 because it's just straight up banger after banger imo, some of my absolute favourite episodes came from that season. :D

But yes, please tell me your opinions, there are no wrong answers here! 🫂🩷

I read the book ‘It’s Not a Bloody Trend’ about ADHD. I can’t remember the author right now. It was very good. In the back was a list of works of fiction with good ADHD representation. Red Dwarf was featured in the TV show section.

I want to start a discussion about what ADHD traits the Red Dwarf characters display. I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, but also somehow the idea of at least one of them having ADHD doesn’t surprise me.

Not to get sentimental on main but I actually love the Tumblr Red Dwarf fandom so much

I've not been here the longest, I will admit, in the time I've been here everyone I've chatted to or interacted with has been so sweet. I don't think I've ever seen any massive discourses or arguments (actually I don't think I've seen any on here(Tumblr specifically), but that's just cause I don't think I am good at noticing when drama happens haha)

And there's almost never ending fanart's and theory's which you can find from years ago, buried in the site which means that although at the moment theres maybe 30 of us (at a stretch) who'd consider ourselves to be part of the fandom, there's still so much to explore and find

There's so many talented people creating gorgeous art, comics, edits or fics and I feel so lucky to be able to know you guys, genuinely y'all are amazing

We're all just a bunch of silly little guys enjoying our stupid silly space sitcom <33
