It makes me so sad that there are incredibly popular/famous movies with very small fandoms and very little fan works online (mostly bc I can’t feed my brain worms) I also find it to be an interesting phenomenon that parallels niche media with huge fan bases
But maybe I’m just spiraling because I keep getting attached to random action movies
the found family trope is inherently queer and you can’t change my mind
If I had a nickel for everytime Dwayne the rock Johnson played a no nonsense security guy and his costar is a traditionally masculine a lister who looks like a twink standing next to the rock who plays a smart ass rule breaker with daddy issues and the two have off the charts homerotic tension also featuring a bad ass brunette who could top both of them in a two word movie starting with Red
I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice
all of Ryan Reynolds’s characters are pan and i cannot be convinced otherwise cause nobody looks at The Rock, Blake Lively, and their own video game world creator in the exact same way.
Sometimes the ship is about the concepts of the ship instead of the actual content itself ok. It’s like in fancy restaurants where the point is the concept of the taste and not being a fulfilling meal. Yes you have to reach a bit to see the vision and you’ll probably have to make the food at home, but damn that food at home is gonna have such good concepts.
Or it’s a popular ship but everyone else is WRONG and it’s up to you alone to correct that. Surely.
Wrong! There are Netflix movies that have none of that (or at least have one of those like a black hero), especially the last one (wtf, btw). The Adam Project, Nimona, Extraction, Enola Holmes, Atlas, Nightmare of the Wolf, Red Notice, Mitchells vs Machines, The School for Good and Evil, The Harder They Fall, etc.
