“Ye best start believin’ in ghost stories...”
Redmoon Terror is Wildstar’s long awaited third raid tier! Travel to the darkest regions of the Halon Belt to face the bloodthirsty Redmoon Marauders, and uncover a force that threatens to consume all of Nexus!
Here’s what you need to know about the horrors that lurk in this cursed flagship...
To fully understand what’s happening in Redmoon Terror, it’s best that you run the following content first.
Apprentice Laveka’s questline in Deradune (Dominion Only)
The Endless Vigil questline in Deradune (Dominion Only)
The Grimveil Enclave questline in Celestion (Exile Only)
The Skullcano dungeon (Located in Wigiwalli Village, Whitevale)
If that’s too much for you, you can find the backstory here.
Unlike Genetic Archives and Datascape, Redmoon Terror does not require a Genesis Key to access. You only need to complete the preliminary quest to gain access.
It is strongly recommended that you have at least some experience with Datascape before you attempt Redmoon Terror, even if you have not defeated Avatus. Normal RMT is balanced for fully runed i120-i130 gear, with most encounters being balanced for an ilevel of 125. Hard Mode (released in a later patch) is balanced for i130-140 Gear.
Fighting aboard the Redmoon Terror will reward you with Triploons and reputation with The Bloodied, a crew of Marauders that have turned against the Redmoon’s grisly plans... not out of altruism so much as being bloody horrified. You can barter with their captain Ish’mael to purchase ilevel 130 Gear and equipment.
There’s also going to be sets of Marauder themed costumes and furniture available for those on the more fashionable side o’ Nexus.
The first Redmoon Terror content patch, Redmoon Rising, will be announced in the coming weeks.
