This feeling when you talk about something you love and suddenly realise you're probably annoying people.

So you want to finish talking as soon as possible but this idea need to be finished. So you hurry and you don't breath and the last words kinda blurts out of your mouth, your voice almost strangled.

Then you get your eyes down and your "cherry full of love for a subject" self, is killed a little bit more than before

The accusation that because we are handling a situation very well it obviously didn't happen.

Suddenly successful progress in healing becomes something to be frightened of having, because it opens up the risk of being accused of faking it. Of it never having been a problem.

People sometimes tell me they think i’m articulate. And i’m just like: “nah you have been conditioned throughout your existence to believe that the use of a vocabulary with many syllables is indeed a sign of intelligence and that one is well read. Whereas in actuality it means i fluff everything up when things could be said in a far more clear and straightforward manner”

Ableism = Projecting and forcing what you think the disabled person needs onto them.

Ableism =/= Offering aid to the disabled person.

A disabled person can have ableist attitude towards other disabled people because what works for them must work for everyone.

I think I was accidentally ableist by trying to make friends with someone who doesn't want or need that empathy tho... Blah.

I'm sorry.

Vice versa tho, tbh. Sigh.

A random train adventure

being full time gainfully employed (go me i know) i have to get to my job So i don’t have a license, i tried once but it stressed me out i kept forgetting stuff and that’s not safe in a car. In the end i lost my temporary license because i didn’t take the exam on time and i haven’t tried since. So i take a train. public transport in Belgium is the actual worst. Meaning i sometimes have a meltdown before i even get to work. That day though it was all fine. Everything was fine. The day had been fine. And then i need to get back home. I get on the train and the lights are off. Which is fine. There’s still daylight coming in after all. I go from station A to Station B and i get off at Station C. It’s literally that. In Station B the  trainguard enters the car and the following conversation happens “okay everyone get off and move to the last two cars” 

(mind you this train is full, it’s after work rush hour) “Excuse me sir but why do we have to move?” “Just move” “But sir i don’t understand why” “the lights are off just move to the back of the car” “Could you just explain why?” “the lights are off so move back” I to this day do not know why we couldn’t sit in the car as they had been doing the entire time. Station A where i get on is not the first station of the train. The lights had been off the entire time. So it’s not a safety issue, Otherwise no one should have been in those cars in Station A. So i didn’t and still don’t understand why we had to move because of the lights?  In the end i move. I have another horror story of getting kicked off the train when i was 16 but i’ll share that some other time. So i move to the back of the train. Mind you the amount of people that was packed on 6 cars on a rush time train is now packed into two cars. Sensory overload guaranteed courtesy of the NMBS. Now i rationalise everything to death. Had this conductor just told me why the fact that the lights were off were an issue i would have focused on that. Mulled that through my mind. In stead i was left to focus on the sensory overload. With a non verbal meltdown as a result. Had i met anyone that night i wouldn’t be able to say shit. Luckily i just got home and locked myself away. Threw me off for the rest of the week though. Here’s a hot tip for people working in public transport. FUCKING TALK AND COMMUNICATE CLEARLY Get that info out not only via guards that inform you politely But also via an app or other written communication methods.
