“Did you just hit me? With a pillow? Oh. It’s on now.” with rena pls?
Sleepovers are supposed to be fun and spent with someone that you like being in company with, and that’s why Rena was over at your place for the night. There was one thing that you were keeping a secret, and that was how your parents were out for the night. It’s not as if they didn’t tell you that your girlfriend couldn’t come over, it was just that they said not to make a mess of the house. And a mess was exactly what you were going to make.
Well, in your bedroom at least. Rena laid sprawled out on your bed, staring up at the ceiling without a word uttered for the past five minutes. The only times that she was this quiet in your presence were if she was daydreaming or tired. Maybe that was the reason.
“Rena, what are you doing?” Sitting down on the edge of the bed, you leaned back with your hands back to support you as you glanced back at Rena. “You’ve been awfully quiet.”
“Don’t worry about it. I’m just… a little tired, that’s all.” She lifted her body up and stared straight back at you, covering her mouth to yawn at the right moment. “Are you sure that you won’t get in trouble?”
“As long as the house isn’t a mess when they come back tomorrow. I mean besides, wouldn’t you be back to your place by then?”
Yet again, Rena seemed lost in her own thoughts. Taking the opportunity that was given, you swooped a pillow from the head of your bed and whacked her on the side of the head. Gasping in surprise at first, she placed her hand on her head and looked hurt, almost like a sad puppy. It was so convincing that you even thought that you had hurt her in some way.
“Did you just hit me? With a pillow?” Hand lowered, her frown twisted into a grin as she too grabbed a pillow. “Oh, it’s on now.”
Before you could even finish your next sentence, the pillow hit you square in the face, causing Rena to laugh.
"Did you think you were gonna get away with it? Not a chance!" She moved her arms back and threw them forward again, but this time you were able to catch the pillow before it made contact. "Hey, that's not fair!"
"All is fair in love and war, don't you think so?" Grinning, you snatched the pillow and threw it across the room along with your own.
"Playing a defenseless game now?" Rena flopped back onto the bed and blushed. It was odd how vulnerable she looked in this state, her light blue locks spread across your bed. You didn't say anything; rather, you got off the bed and grabbed the pillows, throwing them both on top of your girlfriend.
"I was thinking more along the lines of picking up the mess we made. After all, my parents did say not to make a mess of the house...."
"Yeah, but this is your room, y'know. Quit being such a stuck-up and have the pillow fight with me, Y/N."
"Don't 'but Rena' me, this is supposed to be a sleepover, and sleepovers require a little bit of fun…"
"Of course, of course… in the morning."
Climbing back onto your bed, you laid beside Rena with your arms above your head.
"Suffocate me if you want, I just want to lay here in silence with my favorite person in the entire world-"
Your pillows were unceremoniously placed on top of your face, and an audible sigh from Rena made you turn your head.
*Idiot… fine, we can wait until tomorrow before I leave… b-but only because you called me your favorite person, that's all!"
"Because it's true. I love you."
