Hana always takes the same path home after school. She finishes her classes for the day and walks through campus. Passing the herds of students by the cafeteria, people walking to the library to cram for their next exam, past the jocks on the lawn tossing a football back and forth, and lastly passing through the campus garden. Her campus garden. The garden is filled with beautiful flowers in every color imaginable and is tended by a freshman, cleverly named Yang Jungwon, who makes sure that every flower is in check.
Today is no different from any other day. Hana finishes her last class of the day. Literature class might not be the most interesting thing for the average person, but Hana finds it quite interesting regardless of how strict Mr. Park is. She picks up her NJZ tote bag, puts on her headphones and starts making her way back to her dorm. Ryujin did promise to make you ramen today to celebrate her victory during her latest psych exam. She did get a B after all. The late night cramming paid off.
On her way there she sees the same things she usually does. Students rushing into the cafeteria to buy a snack before their next class. Hana notices her friend Yizhuo walking next to a senior she vaguely remembers is named Mark. He seems to notice her looking over because he quickly taps the shorter girl's shoulder. Yizhuo waves her over, seemingly mouthing something to her. Hana gestures to her headphones and makes an X with her hands. Her friend nods slightly before pointing to her phone.

She replies before putting her phone back in her pocket, waving to farewell to her friend and the tiger-like boy. Hana chuckles slightly before continuing her too familiar route back to her small, slightly messy and cramped dorm room.
Johnny and Jaehyun wave at her when she walks past them. Hana always smiles and waves back. She can’t help but wonder if the two older boys have done the assignment for their joint history class, it is due next monday after all. At the same time she makes a mental note about adding the finishing touches to her own assignment.
As she walks past her math professor she can’t help but think “God. I hate that professor.” Has professor Kim ever done something that would and should result in her hating her? No. Regardless, Hana always walks past her teacher with a bit of distaste.
When she finally reaches her beloved garden she can’t help but look over at a certain bench by a big oak tree. You might be thinking, is there a reason why she has such a weird habit or is Hana just going insane. Of course there is a reason that she has such a habit. The reason being the cute boy from her best friend's art class. Hana is certain that he doesn’t even know she exists but she still makes sure to look at him a couple of times before making her way out of the garden.
However, today is different. Today the boy isn’t sitting on the bench sketching. Today he is nowhere to be seen. A small frown falls upon her lips as she sees the lack of black hair on the bench. “Weird,” Hana whispered quietly to herself.
