The days after the gala had been weird, to say something. The nightmares still plagued her dreams every night, and no matter what she did to convince herself that Barry would be just fine, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of deep grief. They had plenty of reasons to be happy, and she was, yet it felt like there was a dark cloud looming over her head. At the sight of a familiar face, all those thoughts flew out of the window and she smiled. At least they all had each other to deal with it. For some reason, seeing them alone didn’t sit well with her. She ordered two chocolates, as she couldn't drink coffee for now, and made her way to their table. Bothering them was not her intention at all, but she couldn’t help herself when it came to those she considered friends. “Hey,” she greeted, taking a seat. “I was hoping that you wouldn’t mind some company.” She offered one of the cups. “All I ask for is a smile in return.”
