Isn't there a quote about Tifa seeing Cloud more like one of her kids? As in the same with Denzel and Marlene?

Tifa’s “koibito” quote was officially translated as “sweetheart”.

Tifa’s “koibito” quote also lacks Cloud’s name in association to the word. 

However....

Aerith’s “koibito” quote directly applies the word to Cloud. 

Aerith’s “koibito” quote was officially translated as “lover” in the French and German language:

That’s the difference. 

Why would Square Enix translate Tifa’s “koibito” quote as “sweetheart” but then translate Cloud and Aerith’s “koibito” quote as “lover”... twice?

EGM: At the very end of FFVII, we see the epilogue to the whole story that takes place 500 years later, so really, you still have another 497 years’ worth of games and movies to fill in.... He’s referring to the same scene that Nomura is talking about in this quote:

In regards to who Barret left Marlene with

Notice how the Reunion Files says he left Marlene in TIFA’S control... not Cloud and Tifa.

I wonder what Nomura means when he says Cloud and Vincent are “really similar to each other”?

The only thing they really have in common is that Vincent feels like he let Lucrecia die just like Cloud feels like he let Aerith die. 

And Vincent loves Lucrecia... so what kind of parallel is Nomura hinting at, I wonder.
