get to know my character.

🎠 - Your character is at the carnival.  What kinds of rides or games do they check out to entertain themselves?

First of all, I can’t really picture Matthias at a carnival, but if for some reason he happens to attend one, he’d probably play those games that involve throwing darts at balloons. 

💰 - Your character just found a fat sack of gold on a bench. What do they do with it? 

Leave it. He has no need for money and he can’t be damned with the hassle of attempting to locate its owner.

🎓 - Are they well-educated?

For the time period in which he was born, yes.

😁 - Someone just tripped and fell in front of your character.  Do they laugh or help the person up?

Zakary wouldn’t waste a moment to run to their aid. 

💋 - Your character was just kissed by someone they can’t stand. Why and how did it happen?

Probably on some blind date and Zakary being too nice not knowing that he gives off the wrong signs, but he would probably end up telling the other person they don’t feel the same. 

😇 - What was your character’s last good deed?

Zakary has been trying to sleep at the shelter every night, but he rarely gets in because he does give up his spot to other people, especially when they’re much younger or much older than him. He considers himself young and strong enough to not need it. Though he wouldn’t call it a good deed, just the most obvious thing to do.

🍀 - Does your character carry a good luck charm? Do they believe in luck?

Nope, they do not. They do not believe in luck because that’s just chance working in someone’s favour. 

🎱 - What’s something that your character wants to work out for them?

Currently the working nine-to-five mentality and living together with someone. They want to feel comfortable as an adult following all the adult things, but they also don’t want to feel stuck. 

💍 - Does your character wear any type of jewelry?

They don’t.

♿ - Is your character in some way handicapped? (This includes physical, emotional, and mental.)

Raine has no mental or physical disabilities that they know of. They’ve done a few tests when they were younger to establish whether or not they had ADHD or ADD, but those tests were most inconclusive. 

💒 - Does your character want marriage or a lifelong commitment?

Yes. Raine is an absolute romantic who wants it all. 

🎃 - What is your character’s favourite holiday?

St. Andrew’s Day, the Scottish national holiday that usually means an extra day off and the one day in the year that Raine does something that can be considered nationalistic. In Seafare, which is a fairly small town, St. Andrew’s Day is considered rather important and includes a lot of Scottish music and food and festivities. It ends up being more of a festival than a celebration, and Raine usually ends up doing something stupid (their last year in Seafare they sold weed brownies passing them off as regular brownies and ended up running from the police together with their friend Sam, luckily, all the evidence had already been eaten.)

🐙 - They are crossing the ocean. What are the circumstances and how did they get there?

The only time Sahid took a plane anywhere - and also managed to cross the ocean - was to go to Astoria and try to find any mention of their niece there.

🎂 - Do they celebrate their birthday?

Sahid hasn’t celebrated their birthday since they turned twenty-two. They’re very sure nobody they know has remembered when it is. 

⌚ - Is your character punctual or procrastinator?

Punctual. Sahid can manage to show up everywhere on time without even trying. Their internal clock is a gift. They’ve spend most evenings in the week drinking, and despite hang-overs or forgetting to set alarms, they still make it to their job on time.

🌎 - If money were no object, where would they live and what would they do with their life? (Ex: entrepreneur, playboy, philanthropist, etc)

While she would love to work on the field she had been studying for at college, which was Computer Science, Aleyna would love to work as a makeup artist. So, if money wasn’t an important factor, she would’ve tried to get more skilled in that field and be able to work with it.

👙 - Is your character trendy or do they just not give a damn?

She tries her best to keep updated and that her style is as trendy as it can be. It’s not that she’s cares, it’s just that she enjoys looking good for her own self.

♓ - Hey baby, what’s your sign? What would your character’s zodiac sign be and what qualities do they carry to make them fall under that sign?

Aleyna has her sun in Cancer, her rising is Taurus and moon in Sagittarius. Focusing on her sun, she’s loving and have a lot of emotions to share, protective of those she care about and usually relies on her intuition. There’s also the negative traits, which would be: hard to let go of some things, can be moody and clinging. And with Taurus as her rising it doesn’t help a lot.

😍 - Your character’s lust object just passed right by them. How awkward do they get as they try to make conversation?

I don’t think she has a lust object. I mean she’s interested in Miles at the moment, but, in general, whenever she’d feel attracted to someone in her life or a stranger, she always found a way to flirt and see if it’d be mutual. There’s no such thing as awkwardness in her life when it comes to being attracted to a person, she’d just respect if they don’t feel the same way.

🎱 - What’s something that your character wants to work out for them?

Her coven being safe without her having to worry about each member every single full moon. Laurel’s really tired. 

📼 - If an interrogation tape emerged regarding a recent interview with your character, what are they being questioned for?

It’d probably be about what happened during the full moon when both herself and Malia found the witches at Althea house. It was the last thing interesting enough that would be worth emerging for the public.

🍺 - Cheers! What is your character’s favorite alcoholic beverage?  What was the last thing they got smashed off of? 

Alex isn’t much of a drinker to be quite honest. He’s much too responsible to get wasted drunk. That, and the fact that he worries way too much to be able to actually lose control... but yeah, when he’s drinking, he’s a simple man. A beer works fine. He’s drinking more for the social aspect rather than the taste.

😈 - What’s your character’s favorite cuss word?

“Frog.” He’s a dad, okay? No cursing around the mini.

😂 - Your character is moved to tears. What’s a kindness that another showed to them in the past?

Honestly? Alex is a simple guy. His love languages are words of affirmation and quality time. So, tell him that he’s doing a good job of raising his kid and spend some time with him. It’s enough.
