Two questions. One would Riskinette be able to beat Yami Yugi from yu-gi-oh season Zero?

And second could Riskinette scare Hawkmoth by appearing in his lair?

In Risk, yes. That’s kind of her whole thing. To be fair, aside from Duel Monsters, Yami has limited experience in modern games outside of his shadow games. And Riskinette doesn’t like those.

Yami: (Tries to invoke shadow magic)

Riskinette: No.

Yami: But—

Riskinette: No.

He is good enough for her to bring her A game at least. Though his reaction to losing does give cause for concern…

Yami: (Kneeling on the ground in anguish) I am sorry everyone. I have failed you. I have failed the world! 

Riskinette: …is he okay? 

Jou: I gotta be honest, I can’t recall the last time we got to play ANY game without potentially world-ending conditions. This must be new for him.

Riskinette: (Wince) My sympathies.

They make peace soon enough though. Yugi likes making friends and Riskinette likes having people to play with.

That’s not to say Yami wouldn’t get obsessed over it though.

Yami: I have to challenge her!

Yugi: Pharaoh, no.

Yami: She isn’t human!

Yugi: She’s a nice girl, she just wants to play a board game without any magic!

Yami: She IS magic!

Yugi: (Spritzes Yami) Stop calling her! We have enough enemies, I don’t want to risk you upsetting her!

Riskinette: Did you say “Risk”?

Yami and Yugi: (Stare)

Yami: I challenge you!

Yugi: (Slaps his forehead)

It’s all in good fun though. And he manages to get her to play other games, though she doesn’t quite like them as much.

And as far as Hawk Moth?

Hawk Moth: (Looks around nervously) Are we sure she’s gone?

Nathalie: Yes, sir. I’ve checked the security systems, the cameras, and looked over the lair three times. There is no risk, so please stop calling me. (Leaves)

Hawk Moth: (Enters the lair)

(Nothing happens.)

Hawk Moth: (Sighs in relief)

Riskinette: (Pops up behind him) Hi!

Hawk Moth: (Flails and falls into a batch of butterflies)

Yes. Yes, she would. It is probably her second favorite game.

Since you created them; who is more scary? Risk Marinette or coffenitte?

Riskinette is a near eldritch entity as far as we can figure, whose abilities cannot be fully explained as either magic or logic. She will appear anywhere and anywhen in an instant when unwittingly summoned in order to play a really long and involved board game she seems to be physically incapable of losing. She will wholly and utterly trounce her opponents regardless of the turn order, starting roles, or any handicaps. Some say she’s omniscient  and knows what moves you will make before you play them. Some claim she was present at two or more games at the same time. She breaks the laws of physics, the laws of probability, and laws of chance. All to play a game.

Coffeenette is an absolutely normal teenage girl— or would be if she weren’t also a superhero. She just happens to have a caffeine addiction.

Yes, Coffeenette is scarier.

Riskinette is simply an odd being who wants to play a game with you. Other than the freakiness of her sudden appearance and her supposedly infinite win streak, she’s pretty benign. A bit spooky but harmless. There’s no known price or consequence to playing a game with her or any general interactions. Losing to her only results in a bit of hurt pride and some experience on techniques or even a few pointers. Declining to play will disappoint her and make her leave. The only insanity-inducing effect comes from attempts by certain parties to make sense of it all or calculate the probabilities of this phenomenon as they attempt to rationalize what cannot be explained.

Coffeenette will be a bit funny and cute until she absolutely eviscerates you.

One minute you see her walk into walls or take a full minute to recognize someone is trying to interact with her or glomp onto Adrien when he somehow gets around Alya’s coffee ban and brings her a cup of happiness.

The next minute, someone said or did the wrong thing and she tears them down. Swiftly and brutally. 

If she doesn’t crush your soul, she will crush your bones.

She would take over the city if left sleep deprived and denied coffee long enough. Then give it up if offered a thermos of freshly brewed roast. They say she once conducted a heist for a certain ice cream vendor’s limited edition espresso ice cream after he denied her any because it “didn’t match her soulmate”. Another claim is that she held Mayor Bourgeois’s sash for ransom to get his stash of rich imported coffee.

No one knows for sure. All we know is that Riskinette is okay while Coffeenette is not to be trifled with.

Did little bug inherit her mother’s risk skills

Very much so. But sadly, being a doll who must stay hidden, she doesn't get to play very much to test her skills.

It's why she is super happy with her new friend!

Sage: (Staring intently at the game board)

Littlebug: (Staring intently at the game board)

Eggman: Sage, what are you doing?

Sage: I am running thousands of simulations on the best course of action to win the game and take over the world.

Eggman: Well, that's all very well and good. But can we perhaps focus that energy into my plans? What really matters?

Sage: (Glares at him) Are you saying victory doesn't matter?

Littlebug: (Glares at him)

Eggman: (Coughs and scoots away) Right....have fun then.

The second part of risk ends with Marinette challenging Shadowmoth to a game of risk and him curling into a ball and crying at the end of the episode

It would be better than what we're probably going to get.

Is Littlebug/Ema good at Risk, too?

Yes. Yes, she is. And the reason as to why...

Sometimes, her Boy would have to leave. For School. For Shoots. For Press Conferences, though she wasn't sure how conferences could be pressed.

Most times, her Boy would take her with him. That way she could protect him! And learn about the big big World outside the Room.

Though sometimes...not often! But sometimes she had to stay behind. In the big big Room with its many Things to explore and learn about.

So Littlebug was not scared! And she was not sad!

But...it could get a little lonely without him or the Dark One there...

...

But that didn't mean she was always completely alone.

"Oh! Hello there!"

She looked up at the nice-sounding and familiar voice.

The Not-Creator smiled down at her, holding a long rectangular box.

"Would you like to play a game with me?"

Littlebug clapped her hands and nodded.

The Not-Creator never really said her name. Littlebug knew she wasn't the Creator, since their energies were different. Much as the title would suggest, her Creator could create and the energy around her was one of life and creation. And this one had an energy of something..."else".

But she did look like her Creator and had a similar "feel" that told her this was her Creator but Not rather than someone who simply looked like her Creator.

How this was, Littlebug didn't really understand. The Not-Creator simply said it was "one of those things", so perhaps that was something else Littlebug needed to learn about?

"Shall we play?"

But that would need to wait for another time. For now, she needed to play the fun game!

Littlebug nodded at her companion and and helped her to set up the pieces.

The bit about littlebug/emma and the not creator gave me very yugi oh or hikaru no go vibes, was that on purpose?

I admittedly was going for more Lovecraftian, since Riskinette is debated to be some manner of eldritch horror...albeit one who is able to be satisfied amusing herself with a game.

How would Chaton fare in the Risk AU? Could he actually beat his Mama at Risk?

We don’t know. He may be able to beat her, but it’s a little hard to tell because every time she tries to play the game with him, he immediately just gives her his territories.

If he plays with her and anyone else, he soundly trounces the other person and THEN gives her all the newly won territories.

And every time, he looks up at her and is just so happy and proud of himself that she can’t be annoyed or try to explain that’s not how you play the game.

There is only one lesson to be taken from this: Chaton would give his Mama the world if he could.
