can yoi talk more about inhun vs sangwoo? its incredibly entertaining
I'M GLAD YOU AGREE ANON this scenario is one of my favorites and I even have a whole AU surrounding it, here's the tag if u wanna peruse it
Real talk I love tired romantic tropes when they’re applied to same-sex relationships and Sangwoo vs Inho is LITERALLY the ‘childhood best friend vs the new mysterious Bad Boy’ love triangle, it’s so great. They’re both toxic af too which stays true to the YA formula 😭😂
I’ve made picking on Sangwoo a running theme on this blog but s3!Inho was such a Disappointment that they are now BOTH officially buttmonkeys to me ok I will bully them both from now on. I love the idea of them taking turns getting one up on each other, whether it’s who can buy Gihun better gifts or spend more time with him or rock his world more in bed
Gihun is completely oblivious to it all the whole time but Jungbae clocks it immediately and continually wonders why Gihun attracts weirdos like this
(I’m going through my inbox & drafts and answering all of my old asks! More info about this here)
"You are unbearable, Hartfelt."
"Only for you, Eden."
WIPs of a rivalry au between actor/model Eden and radio host Alastor. Wherein the two are forced to work together in a movie?! and Eden is Alastor's temporary co-host?!
Will colour these eventually haha ♡
i am an absolute slut for the idea of reader and steve being vile to each other in public for appearances but so soft to each other when they’re alone. mob/mafia!steve x mob/mafia! reader and they’re so fucking mean but then all cuddly and soft behind closed doors because they don’t have any expectations to uphold 🥹🥹🥹
WAIT RIVALS WHO ARE SECRET LOVERS ??
You and Steve have known each other for years bc your mob boss parents are business partners. You’ve watched him grow to fit his big ego, now over six feet and big and beefy 😵💫 he’s always been a bit of an asshole, mocking you bc he was ahead of you: he’s the only child and older than you so opportunities just fall into his lap. he’ll take his father’s place soon and he never fails to remind you. you hated him for it, for being a smug dickhead. your father kept you away from the ugly parts of the business, you were his little girl and he couldn’t imagine you being involved in such things.
and the soft part: when Steve first saw you, he immediately liked you. your beautiful smile and magnetic glow, you were smart and witty, and returned his snarky remarks with ease. somewhere between dinners and business meetings, you two grew closer. bonding over those fears that come with your lifestyle, and the things you’ll miss out on bc you aren’t ‘normal kids.’ he fell for you way before then, but only realized it when you called him one night after a nightmare. he couldn’t leave home to comfort you, his parents wouldn’t allow it, so he stayed on the phone with you until the morning and distracted you with questions about your hobbies, old memories, or the newest television shows. He learnt more about you in those few hours than in the years he knew you.
you two start dating after that but neither of you call it what it was: “we’re just going to dinner, it isn’t… ew.” it’s totally a date and totally not ew. you’re just both stubborn. he’s still an asshole for show and to keep up that bad boy persona.
THIS ALSO HAS POTENTIAL FOR RIVALS WITH BENEFITS ?? this will obviously turn into enemies to lovers with the iconic: “oh no” moment when you both realize your feelings for each other.
Romeo and Juliet but it’s actually a smutty mob au.

Summary: Where fraternising with the enemy is strictly forbidden and the reader and Hoseok are tired of hiding their adoration for each other.

“Is this really necessary?” You drawled out boredly, a small scowl on your face as you ignored the pointed look sent to you from your club leader.
You could’ve been wrapped up in your blankets cuddling your boyfriend on your bed while wearing his hoodie but no.
You were called by your neurotic club leader to take revenge on the Hip Hop Club for their last prank on your club– an almost daily occurrence since the rivalry between your Contemporary Dance Club and the former club had begun before you had even entered the academy.
While you had to admit pranking was fun, it wasn’t fun for you to sabotage other people’s passion including yours for immature reasons.
You sighed as you watched your club leader -a person who withholds the utmost respect and authority- let out an unholy screech followed by the rest of your members to wreak havoc on the Hip Hop Club’s rehearsal with the help of water balloons.
You met the eyes of a drenched and astonished Jung Hoseok and looked away immediately not to see the kicked puppy expression on his face.
You took your water balloon and aimed it at the back of your cackling club leader’s head, feeling immensely satisfied when you watched them shriek and slip face first on the ground before fleeing away from sight.
But your satisfaction wasn’t for long since you had to mop up the stage with the rest of your members who were equally in a bad mood for getting a punishment for their earlier antics.
I didn’t even do anything! You cried inside while maintaining a poker face on the surface, not wanting to show any discomfort to the snickering Hip Hop Club who were greatly amused by the scene.
You felt a stare on your body and you looked up, locking eyes with Hoseok again who looked sorry for you.
You scanned around to see if any of your members were looking at you and when found none, you shot a flirty wink at him.
You turned away from him when you heard him choke on air to hide the growing grin on your face.
You could imagine him panicking at the thought whether someone saw the two of you; his ears dyeing itself red and how he’d be unable to keep down that heart shaped smile at your familiar antics.
You knew him that well; after all your boyfriend was someone very special to you.
“Did you just wink at the prodigy of the Hip Hop Club?” A curious younger member asked you.
Your eyebrows twitched at their words. “No, it’s just your silly imagination. Keep mopping.”

“Yo, leader!” You called out to your paranoid leader, not following the other members to the changing room to leave after practice. “I’m going to stay behind for extra practice. I hope you don’t mind that.”
The paranoia momentarily left your leader’s face as determination flooded in. “That’s the spirit [name]! I’m happy to see you’re not slacking off on your duty as the prodigy of our club! We’ll crush those vermin together with your talent! Go on, go on! I won’t stop you.”
You grimaced at their enthusiasm but nonetheless grateful that you don’t have to deal with them any longer and shooting a quick text to someone, you commented. “You’re too loud, leader.”
It wasn’t long before you rushed into his outstretched arms the moment he bounced inside the room and sighed in happiness as the familiar comforting smell of fresh laundry hit you.
“I’m going to go crazy Hobi if I spend another minute entangled in this stupid rivalry. I would have lost it ages ago if you weren’t here.” Your voice muffled against him and his chest shook with laughter.
He rubbed your back soothingly, and kissing your forehead he cutely whispered to you, “Just a little while longer and things will be alright, dear.”
You groaned and looked at his face as the memory of last summer flooded your mind.
∘☽༓☾∘
Your hands felt sticky from the ice pop juice that was dripping from the stick but you didn’t let that ruin the moment you were sharing with him; lying down besides each other on the grassy land with the blue sky above you two.
“I want the rivalry to end.” He declared softly, his eyes fixed on the clouds.
You hummed teasingly at him, propping yourself up on your elbow while looking down at him. “Looks like the great Jung Hoseok has also had enough, huh?”
He grinned at that. “Looks like it. But if it weren’t for you I would have tolerated it till graduation.”
You tilted your head at him. “What do you mean?”
His face darkened a bit. “That incident that happened before. I don’t want it to happen again.”
You nodded understandingly, also feeling a little bit guilty. “I know. I already apologised to you. I didn’t think they would take my suggestion seriously.”
The incident you were thinking about was when you had offhandedly suggested that your club should let loose some bees in the Hip Hop club room as a joke since the others were pressurising you to take part in the bloodthirsty discussion.
In the heat of the moment, you had momentarily forgotten that your boyfriend was terribly afraid of insects and the high pitched scream from the Hip Hop club room later that day confirmed your nightmare.
“Not that!” He pouted and mumbled later on, “Even though that wasn’t really appreciated.”
“Oh,” you finally realised what he was talking about and your mood turned sombre too.
A few days back you were waiting for Hoseok after his practice so you both could catch the train together but unfortunately you were caught by a few younger members of the Hip Hop Club.
They were highly offensive when they saw a modern dance student close to their turf and to follow the steps of their elders, berated you. You had ignored their taunts but were taken off-guard when one of them tugged your collar.
It was one of the rare times where you saw Hoseok completely furious who had come at the place at the right time.
You shivered at the memory and hoped you wouldn’t see your sunshine so upset like that ever again.
“How would you end it?” You asked him, interested in his thoughts.
“You and me. Dance collaboration. The best of hip hop and modern dance,” he announced firmly, waving his hands to emphasise his point.
You let out a laugh in disbelief. “Interesting notion, Mr. Jung. Do you really believe a collaboration will bring this irrational feud to an end?”
He finally met your eyes and smiled sweetly at you, your heart skipping a beat at the sight. “It’s us. I’ve got hope.”
∘☽༓☾∘
Hoseok watched you as you unravelled the bandages on your sore feet, another tiresome evening of your rehearsal for the secret collaboration had ended late again since you both wanted to perfect everything; hooking your hands together and walking away.
You grinned at him with slight exhaustion and leaned against him as you both browsed around the shopping mall for clothes you both were going to perform in with Hoseok’s self-made background noises accompanying the comforting silence.
His eyes lit up at the various stuff in the shop.
“No unnecessary spending, Hoseok,” you warned him clearly familiar with his habits.
“But,” he pouted at you knowing you would succumb to his looks. It wasn’t fair but he wanted to spoil you and hang around with you as long as possible without meddlesome club mates and crazy leaders.
He whooped in happiness when you reluctantly agreed and stood outside the dressing room for you after handing you his selections.
When the collaboration is finally done and he can reveal that you were his; maybe that club member of yours whose hands linger around your body longer than they should during partnering routines would take a hint instead of Hoseok glaring from afar unable to do anything because you were oblivious to other people’s interest in you when you had your eyes only for him.
He would be free to interact with you in classes, sit with you and partner up for assignments, for as much as fun passing secret notes was, your presence was even more scintillating.
He would cheer loudly for you in the crowd whenever you perform and brag about you when you were done and support you because once the adrenaline wears off you always felt weak in the knees.
Even though you preferred being the quiet one in your relationship, he’d be there to hear every giggle or laugh under your breath and the smart comments you wisely choose to keep to yourself and the little compliments you would give him when no one’s listening once he’s finally close to you.
He was whipped for you and he was proud of it too.
Hoseok was shaken out of his daydreams when you stepped out of the dressing room, your face looking a little shy as you waited for his opinion.
He chuckled fondly at your shyness.
He found it very endearing when you would find secret ways to flirt with him around everyone knowing it would fluster him but when it was just the two of you, your boldness would just disappear under his gaze.
“Beautiful,” he cooed happily. “I can’t take my eyes of you.”
“Great,” you grumbled feeling your cheeks burn at his words.
Your eyes widened when you saw someone behind a cheering Hoseok and hastily grabbed him inside the dressing room, covering his mouth when he yelped.
“Shush! Look carefully,” you whispered urgently to him and you both peeked out of the door.
There they were – your two club leaders giggling and hugging each other lovingly.
You felt like you were going to be sick the more you watched them act lovey-dovey towards each other. They really had everyone fooled.
“Where are we?” Hoseok whispered in awe.
“Hell,” you helpfully provided, your face scrunching in disgust, wanting to delete your existence as they fed each other sickly sweet compliments.
“It’s too bad this rivalry is keeping us apart my darling,” the usually stoic hip hop leader mused.
Hoseok snorted out loud at that and covered his mouth immediately when you shot him a look.
“Don’t worry my love just a few more months till we graduate and we’ll be free from this feud.” Your club leader said dramatically.
“And I thought we were Romeo and Juliet,” Hoseok muttered amusedly.
“We are so not them,” you argued.
Few seconds later you realised, “Looks like this collaboration will really work.”
At that you both shared excited grins.
∘☽༓☾∘
On the day of the reveal you held in your laugh as your club passed by the Hip Hop Club; the sneers the leaders sent to each other were highly amusing to you.
Just as the group passed by you, you pulled back Hoseok’s shirt and swiftly kissed him on the lips.
“Good luck,” you smirked at his gaping face and rushed to get ready, wearing the clothes he had brought for you.
The moment you both entered the stage there was a hushed silence with a few dramatic gasps you were pretty sure was from your club leader.
The next few moments seemed surreal to you where you both were performing in front of the whole school under the pretence that a legendary dance battle was going to take place to settle the rivalry once and for all.
The music made your bodies move on its own; the two of you incorporating the best of each other and you could feel the adrenaline run through your veins and your beating heart, your eyes never leaving each other’s.
With sweat running down your bodies, you did the final move, running towards him and leaping with a gentle twist only to land safely in his arms, his hold secure and comforting to you than any dance partner you ever had, completing the story you both wanted to perform.
The crowd’s cheers broke you from the trance you were in and you both laughed in relief, your foreheads pressed against each other’s while trying to calm yourselves, the heavy breaths filling your ears.
Rivalry was pointless to declare when you both would never even think about leaving each other’s side, no matter what.
