sometimes i think about how the core four broke apart after graduation only to reunite seven years later and cue time travel and another graduation they still don't manage to stay together. doomed by canon in every timeline. yes this is about the riverdale polycule. i love them

If you feel the need to announce that you’re “not part of this fucking fandom,” then why are you putting this in the Riverdale tag?

You haven’t even watched it, what else could you possibly praise it for if you don’t know anything else that happens???

I also dislike the implication that the polyamory is the only good thing the show did because firstly, that’s just a ridiculous thing to say, but also it only happens in the last season and it’s not even endgame. It was a very bold and iconic move but I would never recommend this show to someone solely for the poly rep

Also I can’t NOT talk about them all so, here in this drawing we have:

Pelia, Archie’s daemon, a toller dog, you could also obviously go like Labrador retriever or golden retriever for him but I loveeee toller dogs so toller dog it is.

Then we have Jugheads daemon, the badger, she’s also named the same as FPs, Melisande, bUT is called. You’re not ready for this one. Canbrick. Idk why, it was the only thing that I could come up with and now it’s stuck in my head, Canbrick ❤️

Bettys is a swan named Arsa. I also have on my list that either a dingo or a boomslang snake would work quite well but swan is my main right now.

and last but not least, very much NOT least, we have Fidel, Veronica’s daemon. Who is a wolf. Now I have like, other versions for him too ofc , mainly German shepherd (just cuz the fic I wrote had him as that), Great Dane (this is what goes for draw four au) also just one I really like, close to Doberman which is what her dad wanted but not quite, big and protective, and then you can play with some fun stuff about image by making him a snake (the reverse effect of Bettys swan, also obviously we have, the poison of it all). Or unsettled, he settles last at least.

Concept: Dean&Mary body swap. Mary doesn’t feel that weird about it because she didn’t see dean grow up and can’t quite believe these men are her little boys. But also she really enjoys the gender. Meanwhile Dean is going insane for a thousand reasons even though he also could be enjoying the gender of it weren’t for his neuroses

GOD GOD GOD no i've thought about this so much. the thing is that dean in mary's body would enforce such an apron mommy gender role on her(?)self. and i would love to see it. and it would torment her but she would also...... get something out of it.

and at least she would be allowed to kiss cas on the cheek and straighten his lapels and squeeze his hand for comfort.

The reason we got no canon Jarchie is because Jughead is too lesbian-coded for Archie. Archie is masc4masc when it comes to guys and Judhead is an ethereal femme. Jarchie works best as a husband and wife where the husband is off gay cheating a lot, but they both still love the kids.

sam/tchalla.... is fine. like i am a multishipper. i can get down to it however. im not a huge sam fan due to the fact that i don't read a lot of older captain America comics and didn't like most of his cap stuff I've read (i did like pak's mini). i recognize that there's something there in Mackay avengers however. trichalla is much more my speed (one of them is a guy no one gives a shit about)

HOWEVER del/sam/tchalla..... i think i could get into that
