Seasons in the South
The South is known for many things, one of which is the rampant obsession with SEC football. While some people might shrug off football as ''just a game,'' some Southerners observe game day as some would observe religious holidays. There are tailgating parties, family gatherings at the home of whomever happens to have the biggest TV in the brood, etc. Everyone is decked out in their game gear (hats, T-shirts, team colors, face paint, etc.) and full of team spirit!
And what would Game Day be without awesome food? You've got your buffalo wings, your loaded nachos, and (my personal favorite) Ro-Tel dip and tortilla chips.
