Random Fic Rec Friday

Sometimes you just need a saccharine X-Files "will you marry me" story. This one is grounded enough to not make me want to punch the story in the face for being so sweet it makes me feel like all my teeth are simultaneously becoming cavities and are about to fall out. I may need to work on my emotional responses to fics.
