I had a cute tamiops in the freezer that had really bad slip all over the body, but the fur it still had was incredibly soft and fluffy, so I did what any sane person would do: I turned it into a teeny tiny shouldermount. It'd look like a crumb on the wall if you put it next to a deer shouldermount
Skinned this patagonian mara today! I've worked on a bunch of chacoan mara's before, but never had the chance to work on this species until now. These are a lot larger, and have a more interesting coat pattern (especially on their back legs)
A fun strange thing about them is that they not only have paw pads and hock pads, but also a tail pad! It does look a bit nasty though, kinda like a wart
