Honestly, the biggest sign that it was Sparkle and not Sampo on the mission with Firefly was the fact that he didn’t use his last name when speaking about himself. Near anytime that man says his name it’s “Sampo Koski” and you’re trying to tell me that he just decided to stop? For an introduction to another character? Yeah, the vocal tone was slightly off for Sampo and yeah he appeared on Penacony out of the blue, but the lack of his surname had so many alarm bells in my head. Immediate suspicion.

This isn’t to say sampo never uses just his first name, but it’s significantly rarer and even the mission Masquerade Duet had me more convinced than Sparkle as Sampo, though I was suspicious of Masquerade Duet Sampo because of the Sparkle as Sampo reveal in the Firefly main mission.

Anyways Roger Rose’s voice acting for Sampo has me immediately turning my game sound on to hear him anytime he appears. He did such a good job acting as someone acting as Sampo, I could make a whole appreciation post about that man putting his whole Sampussy into that role.

These tier lists really need updating, but I did them anyways. Probably just because I was in need of something to do, honestly. So here's my rankings of some Batman and Superman actors:

Diedrich Bader, Adam West and Rino Romano are probably my three favourite Batman actors. And I tend to like more of Superman's actors than Batman's actors, but Tim Daly and Nolan North are probably some of my favourite Superman actors. I heard Nolan North do it for Justice League: Cosmic Chaos. And by the gods, he is so charming and fun as Superman. So silly and fun. I love him. My most controversial opinion is probably having Kevin Conroy so low on my list, but I just never got into his acting. I'm sorry to his fans, it's seriously nothing personal. I just find his voice very dull.

I really have a thing for robots, apparently. I really learned this when I read the 60s and 70s Avengers and Justice League comics. Because guess who ended up being my favourite characters? That's right. The Vision and Red Tornado. These robots experiencing humanity for the first time, not accepted but trying to fit in...something about that really spoke to me. I made a lot of posts about them, because they're some of my favourite characters ever. Androids are clearly a character type i go all in for. Apparently i see a little bit of myself in them. Maybe that's the autism talking. I say that somewhat jokingly, since i know everyone's experience is different. And it's probably just a me thing.

But yeah. Red Tornado and The Vision are some of the coolest characters ever, and I can't be told otherwise. I even have voices i hear in my head whenever i think of them. For Red Tornado, I hear Corey Burton. Corey Burton did so good on Batman: The Brave and The Bold. Hell, he did good on Superman the Animated Series as Brainiac, too. He does amazing robots. He's also an autistic voice actor, according to wikipedia and other sources. He's an icon. Meanwhile, I always think of the guy who did Vision for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1. According to wikipedia, that was Roger Rose. So Corey Burton and Roger Rose are the best actors for my favourite comic book androids. I think of their acting often.

PS: Corey Burton might be the best Hugo Strange, too. He did it for Arkham City and Lego DC Supervillains. I don't even like Hugo Strange very much, but Corey Burton did such a good job on the role...he makes me like the character. This evil, evil scientist is played with so much menace by Corey Burton. It's amazing. So Brainiac, Red Tornado and Hugo Strange are three roles for DC he did with stunning skill.
