Repost from @attorneycrump:
A woman tried to walk into her apartment in Los Angeles and ended up getting shot by the National Guard. Yes, seriously. Caught on camera by labyrinthlore on TT.
Lt. Shane Lamond, a D.C. cop tasked with monitoring extremist groups, was found guilty of leaking police secrets to Enrique Tarrio, the national chairman of the far-right Proud Boys militia, in relation to the Jan. 6 insurrection on Capitol Hill—and then he lied about it.
Lamond provided Tarrio with ‘real-time updates’ on the police investigation into the Proud Boys’ burning of a stolen Black Lives Matter banner in 2020, helping Tarrio stay ‘one step ahead of law enforcement,’ according to the prosecutor.
The trial also revealed that Lamond tipped Tarrio off to his arrest warrant being signed and informed him if Proud Boy members would be charged in connection to the insurrection.
The former officer was convicted on one count of obstruction of justice and three counts of making false statements. He’ll be sentenced on April 3, 2025.

If police training in the US could be compared to police training in Finland by using a medical analogy, it’s as if US doctors only had to complete one semester of medical school and then spend just a few months hanging around hospitals before they got certified to practice medicine.
Clearly, US police departments should be looking into what sort of training police officers get in Finland, Germany, and other wealthy developed countries. Better training and stricter screening may cost more, but in the long run it’s cheaper than having to rebuild neighborhoods torched by angry civilians or paying out tens of millions of dollars in damages to those wrongfully abused or killed by fascist-friendly elements within the force.
By the way: he missed and the bullet struck a car that was driving down the road. The victim is in pain due to falling while ducking the bullet.
So not only did he go to shoot a man in the back for NOTHING, but he’s such a poorly trained, incompetent goon that he missed at 2 yards away- endangering another innocent just minding their own business driving down the highway.
This cop, Robert Warrington- was a 12 year veteran & nearly killed not only the victim but a random driver too.
His whole department should be investigated. I have the feeling that QuickDraw McGraw here is just the tip of the iceberg.
The terrorized stress black folks got to deal with on a daily.
He Called 911 Because His Car Was Stuck. The Cops Killed Him.
Police originally said the 22-year-old man was shot and killed while attempting to stab officers. New body-camera footage seems to show othe
