Thimble fanart approaches! Spoilers for Campaign 4 Episode 1 of Critical Role! ✨ 🪡
It's always funny to me that Rogues get this stereotype of being dark and edgy PCs. But then you remember THIS is the inspiration for all Rogues:
If you don't know, now you know:
Bilbo Baggins was the inspiration for the Rogue class in D&D
Where’s my moral compass?? Oh yeah, I sold that for gold.
This is Kaessa, the rogue changeling that one of my players is going to play in the next dungeons and dragons campaign I'm going to run!
Run, boy, run! / The Sun will be guiding you ☀️
Run, boy, run! / They’re dying to stop you.
i got the thumbs-up to share this!!!! my final piece for college, formally titled “Window of a Broken Saint” depicting Aurelian Veritas. huge focus on narrative content & symbolism here, also heavily inspired by Saint Sebastian, stained-glass windows, and last-minute trips to see Sagrada Familia !
okay, so i’m thinking about dnd and six of crows (as per usual) and i got to thinking about what classes/subclasses each of the crows would be. here is my two cents, this was thought out pretty hastily so i am very open to discussion
Kaz: Rogue, thief
Inej: Rogue, assassin - possibly multiclassing into Monk for the acrobatics shit
Jesper: Gunslinger, trick shot (which is a class from Valda’s Spire) - possibly multiclassing into sorcerer because Grisha {though i have not decided if sorcerer is the best fit for grisha, i could be convinced otherwise, i just thought inherent magic yk}
Wylan: Artificer, alchemist
Matthias: Paladin, oath of the watcher
Nina: Sorcerer (again, i could be convinced otherwise, especially because there aren’t a ton of great subclasses that really work) maybe draconic bloodline??? but like… not draconic just to have the elemental element of it? again this is the one that i am the least sure of, if you have thoughts pls tell me
