It was a very windy day, the day after the duststorm had been through, it was quite cold, I had to borrow a coat from Jessica later in the day.
We began our trip from Marine Parade at Maroubra beach. Walked from Randwick, down Avoca street into Centennial Park.
I was determined to take soome different photos than usual since everytime my memories come up on my facebook page I see the same old images.
St Jude’s Anglican Church Randwick
Jessica, taken on the path to the facilities – always the first stop.
The second image taken by Jessica
We took one each of these with my camera and attempted to merge them; unfortunately being without an imaging program I did it in microsoft word. Not the best-larger

Centennial Park 23rd November, we were determined to take different photos here today considering how often we visit here.
I had just been reminded by Facebook of the ducks I photographed last year. Here is a poor image of the rather common something or others.
Don’t usually pay any attention to this bench – Jessica
The edge of what would become a panoramic image
Jessica in the background – the second or third of these. Did manage to capture the undulating landscape.
This old tree has a huge root system of huge roots – ha. I crouched down in the fork of two to take this one.
Labarinth, image taken on an Art setting, pop art maybe
Taken by Jessica of me in the labarinth
This bench usually features in our pictures and this time I htought I had the perfect image framed in the trees. Unfortunately this is not it because I had to crop out a young couple – lost the right hand frame.
Those hoops are either an aid to nesting or a detraction for pollution – I don’t know
Jessica had looked at these flowering bushes and had said that it was too windy for some macro photos.
Not quite a dandylion, a daisy. I haven’t really seen any dandylions in Australia – not like the huge ones in Britain
I did not do botany at school so have not a clue what these are.
The Aboriginal record of white people and our pollution, showing fish traps
Really the same I had to crop a little girl out, you can just see her arm.
Jessica infront of the first tree into the Avoca street entrance of the Park. Over the years this tree has really grown from a swcraggly bush to something approaching elegance.
Close up of the bark with the lake through the trees.
The first view of the rookeries.
Seems more llike the bend of a river than a lake..
