Aerial park in the woods
There's this new adventure park/ropes course place that recently opened near my house, and I really want to go there for a few reasons.
I love climbing walls, ziplines, and other such things
It has areas themed after construction sites and abandoned buildings, so it would be like urban exploration, but safer
Their Google Maps page looks like part of an arg or an ad for a horror game, because most of the pictures are of happy customers playing around on rope bridges or whatever, but the very last one is of a dimly-lit concrete tunnel (#aesthetic)
There’s a children’s ropes course in my home town, and I wanted to try and take pictures to lend it a sort of liminal and vertigo-inducing effect. I also wanted to make it seem morbid and dangerous, because I am kind of basic and predictable in that way. I feel I was successful in my goals.
I don’t consider myself a photographer, and in fact generally consider myself to be bad at the art form, but I like how these all turned out. It might have had something to do with using an actual manually adjustable camera, and not just an iPhone.
July health and fitness recap:

Walk 5 days, total 7.5 miles
Bike 5 days, total 4.5 hours
Dance 2 days, 5 hours

Half marathon training plan still going well. I’ve had some ankle… twinging the last couple of weeks but it seems to be holding. 🤞🏼
And 12.1 pounds down in 2 months yay! I feel so much better these days. Loving it.
Climbing. Another sport that's better to watch than to get involved.
My job is the best 🍃🌿
Summer camp’s always a blast
