Let’s talk jump ropes and ropes in general.
When I first started going to Boot Camp I really struggled with the jump rope thing. Every class has a warm up of 4 one minutes jump cycles with 10 seconds of rest. I very quickly found out that I don’t jump rope well (read = uncoordinated AF) and started just running in place or doing jumping jack as a substitute to jump roping.
Today I decided to try the jump rope again and I actually jumped all 4 one minute cycles!!!
Then, we go into our actual rounds of exercises & what do we have to do?? Rope slams AND heavy rope jump ropes!!
And you know what?!?! I SLAYED it today!! 👊🏻💪🏼👊🏻💪🏼. I was able to do the rope slams continuously for all four rotations of 60 seconds without stopping AND did the heavy rope jumping without stopping as well!!
What a GREAT way to start a Saturday!!
