I wanna see Shane's pathetically weak defenses crumble in the face of Ilya acting like business as usual. There was at least one match against Montreal during the Rose-era (that scene where Ilya shoved Shane against the boards 👀👀) so I want Shane to walk back into his locker room after that game all dejected and have his heart jack knife into his throat when he sees that Lily has sent him a "see you in thirty" message and he's like ⁉️⁉️⁉️ What??? Does Rozanov not know I'm seeing someone??? Oh god,,, well I guess I owe it to him to tell him in person,,, I did leave so abruptly, how would he know for sure it's over? I should see him. Just to say it to his face.
Meanwhile Ilya is on his way to Shane's apartment to audition for the role of Shane's mistress and baby, he's not leaving until he's booked the part. (He is also on his way to beat Shane's ass for stepping out on him, but that's a separate matter)
