honestly one of my bigger nitpicks with homestuck fanfiction is the depiction of rose as someone who swears a lot. she really doesn’t. the rest of the gang drop f-bombs like nobody’s business, but rose? she’s calculated. she swears selectively. as a result, when she actually does let loose, it has infinite more weight than the white noise that is dave and karkat’s inane monkey screeching.
