Hey Fam it’s Rose0Jam, Author of Dream Sequence

This is my old, original tumblr blog.  I’m so glad I kept it as backup.

So, like an hour ago I was at work, and noticed my tumblr app was acting weird.  When I got home, I tried to get on tumblr, to find this lovely message:

My entire account has been deleted.

I have clicked that little link and contacted support, but I haven’t received a reply yet.  I also didn’t receive an email or anything saying that my account was terminated so my hopes aren’t high. 

I don’t really know what to do.  Thank god, all of my stories are still up on Ao3, and i have copies of all your lovely comments and stuff in my e-mail.  But this is fucking... weird.  And devastating.  And I’m fucking MAD about it.

Mostly, I’m upset about losing all of my fucking friends.  Thank god, I have @blooeyedtroll​‘s phone number, and hopefully this will reach some of you. Please reach out to me here, or add me on discord @ PompAdourable#4071 so that we don’t get separated ever again ;w;

What Happened to Rose0Jam? an FAQ

What happened to your blog, Rose0Jam?

A few days ago (sometime in the middle of July) I came home to find that my account had been terminated.  I did not receive any sort of warning, and there was no reason given.  I was just terminated. I was able to retreat to an old back up account, and used that to communicate with the community while I figured things out.

Did you break any rules to warrant a termination?

Not to my knowledge.

Do you think your blog got reported by an Anti?

I honestly don’t know.  I’d been relatively inactive as of late, because of some mental health issues, and even when I WAS active, I wasn’t particularly confrontational with any anti’s, or that part of the fandom in particular.  So I really can’t say why I was targeted, if I was indeed reported.

Did you try to get your account back?

I did, and Tumblr proceeded to jerk me around for several days.  I sent 3 reports using the e-mail associated with my Rose0Jam account, and never received a confirmation e-mail or reply.  When I sent a 4th report using a different e-mail, I finally DID get a reply, but it was just to tell me that I needed to file the report using the e-mail associated with my Rose0Jam account.  When I responded telling them that that had not worked, they asked me for my e-mail and account name AGAIN and I just became so frustrated that I stopped trying.  I’m already depressed and anxious all the time, I didn’t need that kind of bullshit.

So, you’re going to start over here?

Yes, I’m going to start over here on Rose2Jam.  I don’t know when or if I’ll be able to recover the Rose0Jam URL. 

Are you going to re-upload all of your stories?

I am.  Once the “making sure I’m not a robot” phase of starting a new tumblr has passed, and my posts start appearing in the tags, I’ll begin re-uploading all of Dream Sequence, Snoodetober, and Snapril.  I don’t want to do it all at once and totally swamp the tags, so I’ll post a new chapter every couple of days.

Phoenix tears and their keepers

This is my first time doing any sort of challenge here.

I didn't really know what to do with this prompt at first. I had ideas about Sev's and Gwen's individual keepsakes and maybe short posts about them, but since this is a Snoode challenge... I can't really draw or write that well, so for this prompt I decided to make a Dream Sequence inspired keepsake. So this probably falls into fan props category :D My own vision of the phoenix tears. As reading Dream Sequence has been extremely healing to me, healing is the main motif of this keepsake. Healing powers of phoenix tears are immense, but these powers also need to be protected and aided by any means possible, sometimes in the strongest way by the sheer strength of love and devotion. I now have a prop I have some nice headstories about, and making this actually gave me ideas for some other prompts :D

Thank you @madfantasy for being my inspiration and for giving me courage. My seeds of ideas turn to juice and flow when I think of you and your work and the coincidence of you posting bottled Sev's tears gave me a push to go this route.

More backstory about the symbolism of this trinket will be included in some other prompts :)

So here's the plan.

I'm trying not to fucking stress too hard about this. But I want a contingency plan, and to know y'alls thoughts on it.

In the worst case scenario, which is that I don't get my blog back... I think I'll just re-upload Dream Sequence and all my other stories here. This is an already well-established blog. I wouldn't have to completely rebuild from the ground up here. In fact the only reason I made Rose0Jam was because I thought people were going to hate Dream Sequence so I wanted anonymity lmao. Before I was Rose, I was indeed Pomp. It would just be like coming home.

It won't be easy, but really it's the only thing I can think of :') I don't want to start over from scratch. I remeber how hard it was in the beginning just to get people to even SEE MY STORY IN THE TAGS because I was starting with a brand spanking new blog. I wouldn't have that problem if I just started again here...

Idk. This situation is all i can think about. I'm so devastated and stressed over it.
