They’re so soft and nervous? Worried about ruining their friendship with unrequired feelings. Always ready to protect one another, just wanting to be close all the time and enjoy their company. Constantly just complimenting each other with such natural ease it’s kinda silly they’re so nervous.

They love each other so much and there’s a slow process from “best friends” to “dating” that they’re both super respectful about and I just, it feels so damn real.

We usually do all our Connverse stuff on discord but, and probably cause I’m biased it’s such a puzzle fitting relationship it really feels like nothing changed between them. Still goofy and childish, completely and utterly in love with no worries or distress. It’s just a title change, and honestly, it doesn’t even feel like it.

Okay honestly this is a new one and I’m very excited for it cause Peedee deserves so much love and attention and they INSTANTLY clicked, and it’s slow but still happening? Idk if that’s the right description but it’s so soft.

ic wise, the thing that would make me have varian end a relationship would be betrayal. varian by nature is a very loyal person and having been lied too and taken advantage of before, he knows that feeling and would never do it to a partner unless absolutely necessary for their healthy. he gives people lots of chances until he hits a breaking point or one giant thing breaks his bonds (he knows cass/eugene are using him in their respective interactions but he doesn’t care because he’s just so eager to please, but with rapunzel that was a much Bigger thing so he pulls away easier). he can take a lot and would sadly probably stay with someone even if they were super bad for him or toxic because of his desperate need for love and validation. unless there was a big betrayal, him ending a relationship would happen slowly over time as he still tries to convince himself he’s in love with the person using him, until he could no longer do it and just break down.

ooc wise, what would push me to dropping a ship would if someone was forcing extremely abusive or uncomfortable dynamics, or if it turned out they were a scumbag in general. if someone’s character was treating varian like shit (in an abusive way) without even asking me about it first that would definitely turn me off to a ship. i say on my blog that i’m ok with rping darker topics but i’m highly uncomfortable with romanticizing abuse. even for plot purposes i just don’t think i could ever write something like that. not to say that every relationship would have to be perfect (varian and @cunningninja‘s randy have a very complex relationship for example, that mixes varian’s ambition and revenge with his need for love and validation) but there’s a line that i’m just not willing to cross. idk if i’m wording this right or in a way that makes sense but yeah, if a ship turned hella abusive with no warning and the mun didn’t care to talk to me and tossed aside my feelings and varian’s? i’d drop that shit
