Summary:
He wasn’t supposed to have lost this much time.
To have lost enough time to see a fourth friend, four out of four, plan his own wedding. Arguably, the most important of the four. Truly, the one he had never even considered it happening to because it was so out of the realm of possibility. It wasn’t supposed to be possible. It wasn’t right.
One person that Roy revered so fully, who consumed his thoughts so wholly, that it’d kept him in sort of a stasis. A static image in his brain of someone that he loved. Someone who would always be at his side, someone he could always share casual affection with, someone he could love comfortably without a timer.
Garth wasn’t supposed to have gotten married. Not without Roy.

Roy has been invited to Garth's wedding to a woman Roy doesn't even know, and to be in his wedding party no less. Now, he must sit in silent pain and grapple with the fact that life wasn't what it used to be, Garth isn't who he used to be, and he's long missed the opportunity to have the man he loves.
