I'd personally love it to be RPat and Muppets and watch that man act tf out of loving Muppet Bella. Rene is ofc Mrs. Piggy and the Volturi are Statler, Waldorf, and Sam the Eagle.

Thots on the batman

- I liked how he wasn't too techy. Like he had a few cool things like the contact lense , but they didn't overdo it

- the mafia crime lord whodunnit plotline never got too confusing. It got right up to the limit but they kept the amount of names involved small so you knew what was going on. It made sense. Which helps you actually care about what's going on because you know what's going on lol

- the batmobile. I want to fuck it. It was so sexy and retro ughhhhhh just a great intro scene for it <3

- they kept it fairly realistic gadget and ability wise. He was a good fighter but people still got hits in in him. His flying didn't go that well. His bulletproof plating worked up to a point and then he got the shit knocked out of him. This leads me to like my favorite thing : the adrenaline shot. Like that's such a normal thing but it makes total sense to keep on you for situations like that.

-loved the ending where he was helping individual people. Obvs that's one of the big complaints about mcu movies is that the average citizen in the street is ignored and forgotten and left to clean up the mess on their own.

- on that note it was nice to get back to limited scope hero movies. This takes place in 1 (one) city and it's just batman dealing with corruption and 1 crazy dude.

- I liked the couple twists they threw in there. I haven't read any comics so I have no idea how much of this is from source material, but I liked {spoiler} the Wayne family dark history and Catwoman's dad twists. Something a lil different.

-not that much cgi. Obviously there was plenty but it didn't FEEL like there was that much

- something I DIDN'T like : casting Colin farrell as the penguin. Literally why. Cast a real old short weird looking guy. That's what character actors are for. Look up Sydney Greenstreet. This used to be a thing y'all. You are putting unique looking people out of work!!! Colin farrell can play the lead hunk in any movie he wants. Some guy who looks like what Colin farrell ended up looking like CAN'T play the leading hunk in any movie he wants lmao

i haven’t and i’m DYING TO. it’s not playing anywhere near me!!

i once watched rpat in a deep dive netflix movie whose name and premise i cannot remember, but it was pre-twilight, and he was not attractive at all. the movie is a total blank but i distinctly remember having a grand epiphany that went something like “if robert pattinson hadn’t been in harry potter or twilight, and i passed him on the street, i would not even notice him”

which naturally spiraled into “oh my god hollywood has manipulated my entire understanding of beauty in order to sell me things, and if i were an actor, i too would be Hot, not because i am Hot but because they define what Hot is”

the fact that robert pattinson held steady as a heartthrob during twilight’s long reign as #1 teen fodder proves that beauty standards are not REAL they are CRAFTED in order to make us FEEL BAD ABOUT OURSELVES
