the only character I love and respect today as much as I did when I first read the Harry Potter books is Professor McGonagall.

January 2015 Meetup Summary
Thanks everyone for coming out to last week's Ruby Tuesday.
And a big thank you to Xander Miller for his great talk!
The links are below.
Xander Miller on Controller Specs
The Talk
Xander Miller (Twitter | Blog) gave us an excellent talk on Testing Your Controllers with RSpec. He went through the RESTful controller actions (index, show, new, create, edit, update, destroy), and showed some tricks for handling each.

What's up next?
February 4th (that's a Wednesday this time) - Web Project Night
Web Project Night is this Wednesday (NOT the normal Tuesday) on February 4th, at 6:30pm.
It's open to anyone working on the web (Web Developers, We Designers, etc.), so please feel free to invite your friends!
Of course, it's totally beginner friendly. No judgements here, and we're happy to help if you have questions!
You can learn more and RSVP here.
February 24th - Ruby Tuesday
Next month, Georgiy Shibaev (Github) will be giving us a talk on using Graph Databases with Ruby. This will either be a Lightning Talk, or possibly a Full-Length Talk… not sure yet.
See the details and RSVP here.
Up for giving a talk?
We're looking for speakers for next month, as well as for March-July (and onward). If you have something you'd like to talk about, please do let us know via this short form.
Thanks again!
Thanks again for coming out! We hope to see you at the next Ruby Tuesday and Web Project Night!
Thanks,

Rspect!
RESPECT!
R-S-P-E-C-T-? No way would I ever spell that incorrectly. I've listened to that song so many times and sang it more times than my ears could stand. One of my favorite songs and it seems odd to me that Obama would get it wrong... unless he never listens to Aretha Franklin or he was reading from a teleprompter and so disconnected from what he was reading he didn't notice it was spelled incorrectly. Not sure what happened there. Aretha ROCKS! Corpse-man.
Moffat deserves respect!
Despite all the hate Moffat gets I also have amazing respect for him. He took over a major role and turned it into something so beautiful and brilliant. Russell's was also beautiful and brilliant just differently. It must have been hard for Moffat to take over such a brilliant legacy, and he has done so well. It was his writings that turned many people into Whovians and Sherlockians. So even though I hate him, I love him to,
Please tell me I'm not alone?
