Random thinking has caused me some sort of headcanon:

Krogan is an opportunistic cannibal

He isn’t going to outright kill somebody to eat them. He does have a small craving for human flesh on occasion. And typically, it’s only after he has killed someone (usually after he was paid to do so) that he will actively eat them. He prefers human raw, as it lacks flavor to him when cooked, so he’ll often drag the body somewhere private and eat what he wants from there.

Krogan is partially a lycanwing: it’s why he’s capable of eating raw meat. And why he’s so feral, among other things.

*Dragon Riders in battle on hunter ship*

*camera pans to Hiccstrid*

*Astrid sparring with a hunter on the plank of the ship*

*Hiccup taking out the support ships and swerves to Astrid* : Astrid Knock 'em down!

*Astrid roundhouse kicks the hunter off*

*Hivcup casually carrying the unconscious hunter by the collar looking unimpressed* : When I told you to knock him down I meant knock him unconscious. Not off the ship!

*Astrid stretches her arms cracking her fingers whistling for Stormfly, semirking at her man* : you did knock him out In the end didnt you?

*Hiccup drops the hunter on the deck crossing his arms raising an eyebrow at her*: whaddya think?

Astrid: I win

I think if the rating was upped to PG /PG13 and the episode were a bit longer like 30m/episodes we would have gotten so much missed out content of our riders just being badass, seeing actual whoooumps, and a legit Hiccstrid make-out or two [like the closest we got was the Mi Amore Wing and KoD pt2 snippet]. Like they are 18-20 and unsupervised. The creators had the perfect opportunity to unleash the gang battle dynamics even more. Gosh danggit. 🤦‍♀️

Random-ass RTTE headcanon:

Hiccup and Astrid would sext each other using terror mails between their huts at night.

Bonus points if one of the other riders just happens to notice a wore the fuck out terrible terror flying back and forth faster and faster from one hut to another.

is there by any chance a rtte fanfic out there that is completed? preferably like a rewrite.

I wish in rtte there was like a deep conversation between hiccup and snotlout about relating to the feeling of not meeting your father’s expectations. I know there’s a whole episode about snotlout and his insecurities which i love, but god to just have hiccup be like “hey i know exactly what you’re going through” and have them bond over that would’ve been so sweet.

add that to the rtte headcanons list!

RTTE HEADCANON

so i basically re-imagined rtte and i would love to write it but i SUCK at writing so i’ll just give my headcanons

so in my version they wouldn’t leave berk and astrid would actually continue being part of berk’s guard. lately the village has been getting complaints about some weird figure flying around crashing into things and making noise in the middle of the night.

so one night astrid is given the graveyard shift and spots the flying figure so she decides to follow it.

turns out it’s hiccup testing out his flight suit!
