how do you feel about the ruby and jade are fake friends claims

Well, for starters, Ruby and Jade are children, so of course they’re going to act like children lol. They’re not supposed to be perfect, and honestly, that’s what makes them feel more realistic as characters.

I’ve always seen Ruby and Jade as good friends to Sofia. They have flaws, make mistakes, and sometimes see things differently, but that’s kind of the point of their episodes. A lot of the stories involving them are about understanding different perspectives and learning that there isn’t always a single “right” or “wrong” answer. Everyone brings their own viewpoint to a situation, and the characters learn from one another because of it.

That’s one of the reasons I like them. They feel like actual kids trying to figure things out rather than perfect role models who never make mistakes. The criticism they get sometimes feels a little excessive when you remember that they’re literally children in a preschool-aged show 😭. Characters can have flaws and still be good friends, and I think Ruby and Jade are a great example of that.

Rich (or high class) people whose antagonistic behavior is viewed as “iconic” and makes them “more deserving of being the main character”, yet the poor (or lower class) people they pick on are “annoying” or “entitled”.

Been re watching Sofia the First and just finished the amulet and the anthem.

I keep seeing people hating on Ruby and Jade for how they acted in that episode and I'm sorry but they were being completely reasonable.

Like they weren't even that mad?

They're disappointed at first when it's announced Sofia will sing the anthem which is understandable, but they don't let that get in the way of their excitement for their best friend. They only started to get upset when Sofia was bragging, interrupting and ignoring them. And even then, despite being upset with her, they're still excited for her and still go to support her for her big moment, and immediately forgive her when she apologises.

And at the end of the episode when Sofia lets them perform the anthem instead, they still bring her up on stage as well because they love their best friend and want to share this big moment with her.

So no, they are not fake, Ruby and Jade are great actually and I will defend them until the day I die.

Also I'm not even gonna bother trying to defend them for the sleepover episode because I don't understand how anyone was able to watch that episode and think Amber was in the right.

Anyone else think it was weird how Ruby and Jade haters always used to use the episode “Four’s a Crowd” to “prove” Ruby and Jade are bad friends to Sofia??

Like that episode is so clearly about Sofia’s jealousy. It’s one of my favorites honestly, it rlly humanizes Sofia as well as builds upon the running theme of Sofia constantly struggling to adjust to all of the changes in her life after becoming a princess.

If anything, Ruby and Jade were just kinda used as plot devices to tell the story. Ppl rlly do take stuff wildly out of context and then run with it lmaoo
