If they decide to do mermaids in a future season, I’d honestly love to see Oona return. I know she was a pretty minor character and only appeared in a few episodes, but I always liked her and wouldn’t mind seeing her again. Plus, it would be a perfect excuse to bring Ariel back too! 🧜‍♀️✨

And if Vivian ever returns, there’s a good chance we’d get Crackle back as well, which would make me so happy. Sabrina, girl, please find some free time and get back in that recording booth 🙏

In the episodes "The Floating Palace" of Sofia The First, the mermaid queen mentions that the last ship that arrived in the Merroway Cove, the humans in it attacked the mermaids, then a storm came and sank the ship before anything worse happened.

This ship is in the bottom of the cove and the mermaid princess Oona frequently plays in it. I don't remember having any other sunken ship mentioned in the series, besides....

Besides Birk Balthazar's ship. He got lost at sea.

It's probably a shot in the dark, but what if it's true... Especially since Sofia got in there too. I don't totally believe in this theory, but I don't think it's impossible.

Edit: I know she said "years before you were born", but Sofia was very small when her father disappeared. What if Oona is younger than her? What if the queen just isn't sure about when that happened? because, as we know, she didn't said the exact date.

Since unfortunately not everyone could fit in the previous poll who is the best female Duckverse character from the Donald Duck franchise (comics and cartoons), I will add another poll with the best female characters from the Duckverse, so the best from this poll and the previous ones will go head to head in the final. Sofia the First Appreciation Week Day 6.

Day 6: The Royal Family

One of the most clear examples of Sofia caring a lot about her family is when her family is at a very important threat, like on "The Floating Palace", as she wants to recover Oona and her tiara as soon as possible, so Sofia's family doesn't get a tragic destiny.

Also, Sofia accepted Princess Amber's apologies on "Once Upon a Princess", and together, they undid Cedric's sleeping spell.

For not talking about Sofia learning on "Mom's the Word" that Mother's Day is for all of her current family, not only for the own Sofia.

And, of course, Sofia always appreciates her mom Miranda's tips, and how she always tries to do her best for her family, not only to help them, but also, to protect them.
