My D&D group has decided that my Wizard is not allowed to take damage or they will respond with deadly force. How do I tell them that I plan to become a Lich?

You don't. That's something that needs to go behind their back until it's too late. Enjoy the fact that they are protecting you in the meantime. When you become powerful enough, you'll be able to protect them in return.

Or turn them into your loyal undead thralls. Whatever.

Paladin and Squire, I will be DMing a Curse of Strahd game for my friends as a break while one of our usual members is away for a couple of months. One player is thinking of playing a Paladin, specifically an Oathbreaker. Any ideas of how to further play into that type of character in such a bleak environment? (You're both super dope, tysm for all you do)

You can steal my idea for an oathbreaker

I enjoy your homebrew! If my characters weren't so currently fixed in their paths I would likely play some of them. What if the Shark's Blood Frenzy was more like a shark's ability to smell blood from a great distance? Like "You can detect the scent of blood from any wounded creature within 500 and can dash as a bonus only to move towards them?"

Thank you! What you describe would be a little too situational for 3rd level, but fitting for 6th level. I wouldn’t want to do anything with the Dash action since the eagle totem animal already does. Check out the latest Shark Totem Spirit draft!

Nine (yeah he's short-haired but I bet he's earned a lot about it along the way)

Jake Peralta (from the many clips and memes I've seen of B99, he gives off enough Big City Disaster Bi Energy that I'd feel reasonably comfortably leaving this to him)

Trevor Belmont (another Disaster Bi, but I suspect about 80% of his experience is from occasionally chopping his own hair with whatever sharp object he happened to have to hand. Granted, the other 20% is from the popular fanon that he had several older sisters, and you can't tell me they didn't show him some hair stuff)

Edward Elric (okay kid your hair is amazing but I stg if you get any of mine gets caught in your automail then I will rip it from its socket)

The smell of cedar wood has been a favorite of mine for years. It reminds me of the first summer camp I ever went to.
