The ubiquitous rooftop atelier affording views over a Parisian cityscape was a dream come true for a young Jacques Grange, who first saw the building at the age of fifteen. A beige leather sofa by Pierre Chareau, Jean-Michel Frank stools and a door handle by Ruhlmann are some of the notable collections that contributed to an aesthetic which Grange referred to as “Art Deco Colonial”.
