Thanks! I start at 7:30 and it should only be a little over an hour so I think I’ll be okay. Temp is supposed to be mid 70s but it does crawl up fast.

However it’s not the heat that gets you-it’s the humidity and that’s pretty much always high where I’m at 🙃

So here I am about to go on a run for the first time in two weeks and I just remembered that I let my boyfriend borrow my headphones. I ask him where they are and lo and behold he lost them. I am quite annoyed. Guess I’ll just run with no podcast today :(

Are anyone else’s legs just like... no cooperating? It’s not my cardio or my heart rate it’s just my legs. They just want to like give out lately. Runs have just not been going smoothly like at all lately. It’s been hot. I have to think that contributes but I don’t think it can be the whole reason.

-26min/3k on a treadmill

Actual running: 11min, 5min, 3min

-28min strength workout by HASfit (Endurance Companion program)

-20min backstroke swimming

-170 squats for "3000 squats January" challenge

I feel like I could do better on a treadmill but my feet start falling asleep after 10min. I read that it could be because of tight shoes so I bought looser ones but that didn't help. I have another pair of shoes in mind, I'll go buy them tomorrow and if they don't solve the issue I'll have to look for another possible cause

I hurt my back yesterday while working

I spent two of my appointments bent over in a funky position dealing with a choking pony and dental on a pony/mini horse.

What does this mean. No running yesterday or today. Man this marathon training is going great! 🙄

I had a call at 1am for a cow with Milk fever and I woke up and felt like I could barely move. So that was fun as I grunted and groaned getting my coveralls and boots on. Went back to sleep with a heating pad. I’m currently sitting on the couch with said heating pad. It feels better but not great. So yea. 13 miles probably isn’t gonna happen this weekend.

In another note we’ve been looking at houses here in Wisconsin. If they’re move in ready they get swept up real fast. We looked at one last Sunday and it had a pending offer by that Wednesday!!

So we’ll see. Found one that meets our requirements but unfinished basement. There are pros and cons. I like the idea of making it our own, but then we have to pay more for construction and deal with people in the house. The kitchen could get an update too. Some painting to be done.

Problem is I’ve been watching HGTV and I love some of the things they do in the shows. But it just seems like so much money.

We’ll go look at it and decide then. They say more houses will go up for sale come March/spring time. We’re not in a rush. Just like the idea of getting really settled in here. I don’t feel settled in here in this itty bitty rental house.
