Von Kathmandu nach Lukla

Bevor wir Kathmandu verlassen gilt es noch die Herausforderungen beim Packen zu meistern. Es gibt die Möglichkeit, eine Tasche im Hotel zu deponieren. Auf dem Inlandsflug dürfen nämlich nur 10 kg Gepäck sowie zusätzlich 5 kg Handgebäck mitgenommen werden. Bir Sing hat darauf hingewiesen, dass am Flughafen jedes Gepäckstück gewogen wird. 10 kg erweisen sich als erstaunlich wenig. Was muss mit, was kann im Hotel bleiben? Wanderstöcke? Reiseapotheke? Schlafsack? PowerBank? Müsliriegel? iPad, Kamera, Objektiv und Ersatzakkus machen schon das Handgepäck zum Problem. Also packe ich in immer neuen Runden, wiege, merke, dass es immer noch zu viel ist und gebe schließlich bei knapp 12 kg auf. Weniger wird es einfach nicht.

Am Nachmittag geht es mit einem kleinen Bus ostwärts nach Mulkot. Die Fahrt ist recht beschwerlich. Für die Strecke von 100km brauchen wir 4 Stunden. Im Linksverkehr geht es erst durch den dichten Verkehr in Kathmandu, dann weiter in die zunehmend armen Gebiete am Stadtrand und dann über Land. Einige Baustellen und Brücken mit nur einer Fahrbahn verlangsamen die Fahrt. Einmal steige ich mit einem Mitreisenden aus, um auf der anderen Brückenseite den Verkehr anzuhalten. Die uns entgegenkommenden Autos und Busse sind teilweise hoffnungslos überladen. Die Straßen sind oft ziemlich schmal. Wenn es dunkel wird machen die Autos/Laster den Blinker auf der Innenseite der Straße an damit das entgegenkommende Fahrzeug genauer sehen kann wie viel Platz ist. Unfälle gibt es aber kaum.

Unterwegs gibt es die ersten Blicke auf die Berge des Himalaya. Auf dem nächsten Bild ist der Annapurna zu sehen (8.091 m).

Am Abend beziehen wir unser Quartier im Hotel Akshit Resort in Mulkot (495m). An Schlaf ist nicht zu denken. Es ist sehr laut, die Beleuchtung vor dem Fenster flackert und so wirklich sauber ist es auch nicht. Das Bad ist eher eklig. Na ja, ich lege mich für ein paar Stunden mit Klamotten auf das Bett. Am nächsten Morgen ist ohnehin um 3.30 Uhr morgens Abfahrt.

Früh morgens geht es dann weiter mit dem kleinen Bus nach Ramechap. Der Flughafen ist einmalig. Das Bild zeigt den Zugang zur Sicherheitskontrolle, getrennt nach Männern und Frauen. Ab einer Körpergröße von ca 1,60m war Vorsicht geboten 😂.

Der für 6.15 Uhr geplante Abflug verzögert sich wg leichtem Nebel um rd 2 Stunden. Der Flug nach Lukla ist ein Sichtflug, da bin ich eigentlich ganz froh wenn alle etwas vorsichtig sind.

Der Flug selbst dauert nur 20 Minuten und ist wie erhofft ganz toll. Ganz ruhig und mit klarer Sicht auf die Berge.

Trotzdem bin ich auch froh als wir sicher gelandet sind. Lukla gilt als der spektakulärste oder auch gefährlichste Flughafen der Welt. Die sehr kurze (530m) Landebahn geht bergauf. Davor und dahinter geht es steil bergab bzw. bergauf. Durchstarten ist nicht.

Jetzt sind wir auf 2.800 Meter Höhe angekommen. Das Wetter ist traumhaft, die ersten Berge sind in Sicht und es kann losgehen.

I’m glad I didn’t get too into Runway24 because I would’ve been shrieking over Daisuke and Momo permanently going their separate ways in life, even if it made sense because Daisuke and Momo have different dreams

Episode 9...had to go with Momoko and Daisuke permanently parting ways....I mean I get that they have different dreams and that this is more of an airline advertisement and that life doesn’t turn out the way you want it to be - but didn’t they date for like several years? And within weeks of their breakup they’re already thinking of marrying another person/dating someone else? Even though they were thinking about marriage? Maybe it’s because I am single as a pringle but do people get over relationships that fast or -

Do tell me what was the point of billing Atsuhiro second in the opening credits other than using it as a marketing tactic to use his newfound fame from Build, because I was rooting for the canon Momoko/Daisuke but they broke up

Why can’t media allow a couple to become a couple and stay a couple? Why do they have to break up at least once to show their relationship difficulties when you can have that and still stay together? And why don’t they explore the option of Daisuke having a partnership with a friend to run his business - well, it’s likely that Japan’s attitude to that sort of thing is different but - AGH

Runway24 is ending this weekend... and i feel the pastry bunny chef/Daisuke role is over. So here some doodles of him. I’m grateful for all the Acchan fanservice... but it was really necesary make us suffer if Momoko will not end with him?! I know it’s a short drama and the focus was the airline industry but that’s why felt like unnecessary drama. But never mind, Acchan was gorgeous, he got the spotlight, i can’t complain. XD

Runway ep7- Daisuke appreciation post. If i were Momoko i could still be crying uncontrolably and cursing Daisuke for being so hot and beautiful. XD The sad part is that Momoko is imagining this... so yeah... she wanted to spend her life with Daisuke, she wanted to marry him, she... loved him... but she couldn't throw away her dream.

Daisuke too!! TTATT And can we talk about how perfect his sad face is?! Goes straight to your heart and hurts you! TTATT (damn Inukai, stop acting so flawless that i fall in love again).

Well i don’t know, may be the girl that was his girlfriend and that he LOVED SO MUCH AND WANTED SPEND HIS LIFE WITH is the cause?! Really, that big sis is an horrible person. I mean... she knows... she's marrying him to someone he don't love and still ask what’s wrong.

Momoko asking herself if she have done the right thing. TTATT Really i want to do the meme of Thanos with her. XD I have to admit, thanks Runway24 for giving is us an Acchan in groom and suit clothes.

If i were Momoko i could still be crying so hard and cursing fate, because i couldn’t marry the most beautiful and perfect boyfriend. XD The most sad part was that Momoko deleted the promise photo and Daisuke didn’t. TTATT
