OPINION: Tamagotchi On Deserves Launch Party!

THIS LAUNCH IS MAJOR. The first color Tamagotchi in english is about to be released in the United States & Canada, fans have been waiting for this moment for over eleven years. We think that this deserves a launch party! Who remembers the Tamagotchi Connection V1 launch party at Toys “R” Us Time Square in New York City? We were there! It was an iconic celebration that even had a performance from Ryan Cabrera! There were Tamagotchi magnets, and of course the opportunity to be one of the firsts to get their hands on the V1 back in 2004.

No official launch party is scheduled for the Tamagotchi On, but imagine if there was. Should it be back in New York City? It’s a shame that the Toys “R” Us in Time Square has since closed. What would it look like? We could brainstorm for days. Whatever the case, let’s appreciate the new found momentum behind the Tamagotchi brand and the bright future ahead!
