If I had to pick a favorite, I’d be unable to.  Each had his own charm.

Gen 1 heir, Ryge, spent the night after having a falling out with partner, Ephraim, the pizza delivery guy.

I’ve updated the family tree on Family Echo, but it’s been so long since I had, that there is a definite lack of information (siblings and such - for instance, Joshua had five children) from Generations four to seven or eight.  I started adding their generational professions (includes spoilers for gen 10), but still have a ways to go with that, too.

Generation 10 meets generation 1.

Absent-minded Ryge absent-mindedly stabs himself in the chest with the sculptor’s chisel he absent-mindedly brought with him from home.

Founder Verge is surrounded by [a new family of] winglies.  Roosevelt’s poor choice in ensemble, not to mention color, would suggest another is on the way.  All boys so far; Kermit, Louie and Christian; will they have a girl this time?  Perhaps I should have disallowed children for the older generations I brought along (Founder and gens 1-3 heirs).

Gen 1 heir, Ryge and partner Ephraim, have two children; Franco and Ginger (both with Ephraim’s hair color).  Ephraim’s adopted daughter, Cheryl, has a baby of her own with teen partner Hiram Ladders (Boyd’s father Jakob’s adopted son).

Gen 2 heir, Hyram and partner Hal, have two children; Brie (adopted) and Garth.  Everyone else has moved up and above from the homes I placed them in, but Hyram and Val seem content to stay in the copy of the home I played them in in Riverview.

Gen 3 heir, Mal and partner Jamel, have no new children - yet.  I was pleased to see Mal kept his recolor of the Leader of the Free World career outfit.  So far, Java’s fathers have ignored his criminal activities, but I’m sure they’ll cross paths at some point, given the conflicting career paths.

The entire town is hellbent on grubbing it up with babies.

Generations 1 and -1 crossing wands...

Vance is Ryge’s grandfather, but I didn’t start the legacy until Ryge’s father, Verge.  Cato, Vance’s father is the oldest generation in this save.  

Thus I have designated them as follows (because I can):

Cato - Patriarch Vance - Generation -1 Verge - Founder Ryge - Generation 1 Hyram - Generation 2  (I’m sure it’s evident by now)

Although it’s getting “tricky” to play in this save, I will try to stay in Riverview for Hyram’s generation, as the already large population will aid his career...  I may have to intervene on some of the longer-lived residents, removing their occults so they’ll die out (which is why I could never get very far in a legacy in the past)!

Highlights (actually the only screen shots I took) of a short whirlwind vacation to Egypt to fulfill some locked wishes!  I really needed to be much more picky about the wishes I lock this generation, but it’s almost over.

Fighting tourists and pregnant tourists... both firsts for me.

Clayton was my first choice for a partner with Ryge, but I couldn’t use townies for the base game hidden traits; only NPCs, so pizza delivery guy, Ephraim became the prize.  

All of the explored tombs (from playing Cato’s household long ago) are open except the Pyramid of Fire (the one where the Flame Fruit are collected).  A few trinkets were collected fulfilling wishes to visit here and there.

Once both Ephraim completes his LTW and Hyram ages to young adult, Gen 2 will kick off.  (Seems awful slow going getting Ephraim to learn those skills, needing to master three for the Renaissance Sim LTW.  He has the Fast Learner reward, but still, he gets sidetracked so easily.)

Took Clayton Dean and Byron Caspian along - since both children are teens, household restrictions are lifted, right?  RIGHT!
