s15e16 -- "Drag Me Away (From You)"
14 year old Dean: When I was your age I was babysitting you. 10 year old Sam: Pretty sure that’s illegal. 24 year old Me: *thinking about how John Winchester was probably hanging around with his another family at that time, taking Adam to baseball games and shit*

I’m a little sad they changed the young dean and Sam, but I guess they would have been a lot older now to because it was a while ago they did a throwback like this.
However I remembered a post I read some time ago about how in the other throwbacks dean looked much older in one even if they were not that far apart. Someone gave an explanation for this: one was from deans point of view- where dean looked very young to, like Sam, because he saw himself like a young boy trying his best. In the other one Sam was the same age but dean looked much older, because in Sam’s point of view Dean was more of a father figure or hero so to him he was much older. (I think it was something like this I don’t remember completely)
Anyway, in this episode they looked like they actually were like four years apart - maybe because this was a shared memory. Even if it was centred a little more on Dean, with home finding the bodies and so on, but this was something they relived together. They were both there as kids and came back as adults together.
