Season 1, Episode 26: Moms of Future Past
Favorite moment: When Paeden cuts Glenn's Achilles tendon.
General thoughts:
Love the Whole New World parody. And it's with Doug! Love Anthony's deadpan voice.
Lots of crazy stuff in the opening table talk this time. BDSM: Bad, Dead, Sad, Moms. Oof. PRIMER!!! And the fact that Darryl takes his pants off when he poops. All very important running gags. (And the number of hilarious random topics they talk about sometimes.) Totally forgot about this "one word at a time" Henry fact. The vicious skiers. Oh boy. So he's on a watch list. Those dad facts were a wild ride.
Darryl gets ready to call Carol and Ron says, "Shouldn't we call someone who's going to pick up?" Damn, Ron. Way to kick a man while he's down. (I love how much emotional maturity Ron gains over the course of the series. He says some pretty mean stuff in these earlier episodes).
Ron panicking in this episode is just some great role-play. It's heartbreaking how much he doesn't feel worthy and capable of being TJ's dad by himself. No wonder Samantha wrote those words. He's going to need to hear them. A lot. Repeatedly. (Anything with Terry Jr hits differently, now.)
The whole scene with Glenn's hiccups is hilarious. And Paeden! There's a fun animatic of this on Youtube. (It's not mine - link included - you should watch it.)
Ah, Fry's. Love how this pyramid comes back in season 2. I don't mind that their time travel and all of the time differentials between the worlds don't quite make sense. It's a fantasy comedy podcast, it doesn't need to.
Epic ending! Love the music. We're off to Ravenloft!
“Francine, I think there’s a lot of apologizing in your future.”
Rewatching TMNT 2003 show after 3 years and I just started season 1, episode 26 (The Search for Splinter - Part 2) and DAMN RAPHAEL’S VOICE at 00:16-00:18 when he says; “Then Donnie had a thought.”
So fucking deep, calm and manly and OHOHOHOHO THIS GIRL CAN’T TAKE THAT VOICE! <3 *rolls all around on the floor giggling and laughing with joy*
Lapis Lazuli, you fled into the bottom of the sea (insp.)

Look, I know this scene is supposed to show the Winx and the Specialists being all doey-eyed over one another in a cutesy "I think I might LIKE like you" way, but Tecna is giving off some MAJOR "I'm gonna take you home and make you my bitch" bedroom vibes @ Timmy..
Saladin "Knut, if I'm not mistaken, you're asking if you can stay here at Alfea?"
Faragonda "What do you say, Griffin? Would you mind his staying here instead of at Cloud Tower?"
Griffin "I have no objection whatsoever and I appreciate your consulting me on this matter."

Faragonda and Griffin love and respect each other.. so much...
