Clyde Bruckman: Hilarious. Tragic. Makes fun of Mulder, won an Emmy for it. "Final Repose" is one of TXF's most acclaimed episodes for good reason. If Clyde wasn't Clyde, this episode wouldn't be nearly as well received.

Clyde Bruckman: You don't get it, do you, kid? Two years from now, while driving down Route 91, coming home to your wife and baby daughter, you're going to be hit head-on by a drunk, driving a blue '87 Mustang. You'll end up looking worse than 60 feet of bad road your body slides across after flying out your front windshield. Young Husband: Mister, you really need to work on your closing technique.

Luther Lee Boggs: Brad Dourif killing it as usual. Memorable for a reason.

in S3 E4, the way Athelstan quickly leaves Ecbert and Lagertha to go to Ragnar because he was looking at him at the feast in Wessex <3

Ragnar: "They are trying to make you stay?"

Athelstan: "Yes."

"There is something between you and that girl?"

"Yes. You don't understand."

"Nobody understands. We're all free to do as we please."

"Are we still talking about women?"

"Mmm..."

Athelstan smiles but it falls when he looks at Judith. he's torn of course, but he will choose Ragnar as always. and Ragnar seems lowkey jealous while Athelstan is also kinda avoidant (?) with the "you don't understand"? they're totally a long-term couple. but the ending... hehe. and Athelstan decides to go with Ragnar after that, because of course he does, he leaves Judith for Ragnar too, it's but a fleeting feeling, his future is with Ragnar <3
