When I'm away from home I like to improvise using materials I found/get on my way. This is "Saeta to the wind", a doll made of donated fabrics, scraps found in the beach, feather and fruit net.

A saeta is a sacred song of lamentation sung tipically from a balcony during a religious procession in Andalucía.

The saeta (Spanish pronunciation: [saˈeta]) is a revered form of Andalusian religious song, whose form and style have evolved over many centuries. Saetas evoke strong emotion and are sung most often during public processions.

Absolutely not, never has never will.

Syla is a bit too honest at times, it would wound his ego not to be honorable. Even if it meant getting discharged from Lente's Tear, and it did, for organizing a small defector squad. Syla took the blame and spared his friends the shame of being punished.

Especially if it's his own fault, Syla refused to back down from being challenged. Even if he knows it won't end well, he would rather swallow the bitterness than force it down someone's throat.

En esta serie intimista de F.J. pineda, e inspirado e influenciado, desde su viaje a Ámsterdam, por los muchos autorretratos y vida del pintor holandés Van Gogh, nos muestra una de sus caras más profundas y fantasiosas, dándose a conocer de un modo muy personal e intimo al mundo, ya que es la primera vez que vemos al autor asumiendo un papel protagonista delante de la cámara.

La palabra inglesa self se traduce en psicología como sí mismo, y es un (concepto o categoría descriptiva) utilizado por diversas escuelas psicológicas, entre ellas, el psicoanálisis.

El “self” se estudia en función de los límites mentales del individuo a raíz de un posible problema de conducta o trastorno de personalidad.

Conceptos como el “Yo”, “Ego” o “Self” son utilizados a menudo para designar la dimensión autorreferencial de la experiencia humana. La percepción de continuidad y coherencia, y por tanto el desarrollo del sentido de la identidad, depende de que concibamos una parte de nosotros mismos como el sujeto que protagoniza nuestra vida.

El Self incluye lo inconsciente, además de la parte consciente de la experiencia.

Mediante esta serie narrativa de autorretratos F.J.Pineda nos muestra, atreves de sus imágenes, partes profunda de su self, de las cuales emergen su memoria y su identidad. Distinguiendo entre el Yo y el Mí.

Mientras que define el Yo como la dimensión corporal-emocional de la experiencia inconsciente, para F.J.Pineda el Mí es la parte del Self que observa y genera significados a través de sus imágenes. Mostrándonos unas creaciones fantasiosas pero coherentes, que son la explicación de su vida y de su obra.
