Saint James the Apostle
Hey friends, on 25th of July we celebrate the great feast of Saint James the Apostle (Santiago Apostol)! My heart is full of gratitude for this bold disciple of Jesus.
Who was he? One of the Twelve, brother of John, called by Jesus a "Son of Thunder." He witnessed the Transfiguration, the raising of Jairus' daughter, and was the first Apostle to be martyred for his faith. His courage and zeal still inspire us today.
🙏🏻"Saint James, pray for us. Help us follow Jesus with that same fiery faith and courage. Intercede for pilgrims, travelers, and all who seek to live their faith boldly in difficult times."
Did you know? He is the patron saint of Spain, of pilgrims (especially the Camino de Santiago), and of those facing challenges. Thousands walk the Camino each year in his honor.
If you're on a journey of faith right now, turn to him. He understands the road, the struggles, and the joy of reaching the Lord.
