I bought a sprang bag kit long ago, and today I set up "loom"

Felted Tudor flat cap fail..
I did my knitting math right and wrong. The hat band fits, but the hat itself is not the right proportion. I had to felt it because the hat band was too large without felting. I attempted to adapt the pattern to fingering weight yarn, from aran weight yarn, but obviously I made some mistakes.
I will try again. In the meantime, I have to figure out what to do with my handmade felt.

I found this youtuber called Sally Pointer and I think if you haven't seen her content already you might find it really cool or helpful!!
Wow, you're right, I do find it cool! I looked her up on youtube and she's making a lot of content of historical skills to create threads, textile, baskets, netting, bags and all sorts of useful skills! Here's a link for anyone interested: Sally Pointer
